Abstract

Patella merupakan tulang sesamoid terbesar yang ada di tubuh dan menempati femoral trochlea. Pengetahuan terhadap anatomi dan biomekanik dari patella fundamental untuk mengetahui perbedaan patologis yang dapat terjadi pada anterior lutut. Ketidaksesuaian biomekanik patella atau disebut maltracking patella dapat menentukan kelainan secara anatomis. Evaluasi antropometri patella untuk patella tracking meliputi patellar shape, sulcus angle, congruence angle, panjang permukaan articular, ketebalan, panjang dan lebar patella pada orang Indonesia. Di Indonesia sejauh ini tidak didapati penelitian deskriptif baku pada pengukuran tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif melibatkan 135 responden usi 18-40 tahun di Radiologi di RS Saiful Anwar, Malang pada Agustus - September 2021. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengambil data primer pada sample yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penilaian bentuk patella pada sendi lutut dilakukan melalui foto X-ray merchant dan lateral view lutut. Bentuk patella dinilai berdasarkan klasifikasi Wiberg. Sulcus angle, congruence angle dan lebar patella diukur berdasarkan foto x-ray merchant view. Panjang permukaan articular, ketebalan dan panjang patella diukur berdasarkan foto x-ray lateral view Dari studi ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa didapatkan data patellar shape, sulcus angle, congruence angle, panjang permukaan artikular, ketebalan, panjang dan lebar patella pada orang Indonesia, yang menunjukkan adanya variasi tertentu bentuk anatomi patellofemoral pada orang Indonesia.

English Abstract

The patella is the largest sesamoid bone in the body and occupies the femoral trochlea. Knowledge of the anatomy and biomechanics of the patella is fundamental to understanding the different pathologies that can occur in the anterior knee. Patella biomechanical discrepancy or called patella maltracking can determine anatomical abnormalities. Anthropometric evaluation of the patella for patella tracking includes patellar shape, sulcus angle, congruence angle, articular surface length, thickness, length and width of the patella in Indonesian people. In Indonesia so far there is no standard descriptive research on this measurement. This research is a descriptive study involving 135 respondents aged 18-40 years in Radiology at Saiful Anwar Hospital, Malang in August - September 2021. This research method was carried out by taking primary data on samples that met the inclusion criteria. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling technique. Assessment of the shape of the patella in the knee joint is carried out by X-ray merchant and lateral view of the knee. The shape of the patella was assessed according to Wiberg's classification. Sulcus angle, congruence angle and patella width were measured based on x-ray merchant view. The articular surface length, thickness and length of the patella were measured based on x-ray lateral view photos. From this study it can be concluded that patellar shape, sulcus angle, congruence angle, articular surface length, thickness, length and width of the patella data were obtained in Indonesian people, which shows the presence of certain variations in patellofemoral anatomy in Indonesian people.
