Hasil pengamatan di lapangan menunjukkan tanah pada lahan Kopi Desa Bambang memiliki karakteristik tanah berpasir seperti strukturnya yang lemah dan mudah meloloskan air. Adapun pergerakan air di dalam tanah yang diukur dalam kondisi jenuh disebut sebagai konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh (KHJ) tanah. KHJ dipengaruhi oleh berbagai sifat tanah seperti kapasitas air tersedia (KAT) dan kandungan bahan organik tanah (BOT). Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah upaya manajemen tanah dengan penambahan liat dan kompos berpengaruh terhadap kapasitas air tersedia dan nilai konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh tanah lahan kopi di Desa Bambang, Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari – Oktober 2022 di Greenhouse yang terletak di Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Brawijaya yang terletak di Jl. Veteran, Ketawanggede, Lowokwaru, Kota Malang dengan metode eksperimental dan rancangan percobaan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial (RAL-F) dengan 3 faktor perlakuan, yakni: kedalaman K1 (0 – 30 cm), K2 (30 – 60 cm); Dosis pupuk kompos M1 (0 ton ha-1) dan M2 (20 ton ha-1); serta persentase tanah liat T1 (0%), T2 (25% = 2 kg liat), dan T3 (50% = 4 kg liat). Bahan penelitian berupa tanah berpasir dari lahan kopi di Desa Bambang, Kecamatan Wajak dan tanah liat yang berasal dari lahan kopi Agro Techno Park Jatikerto, Desa Jatikerto, Kecamatan Kromengan.Parameter pengamatan terdiri dari berat isi, porositas, kapasitas air tersedia, dan konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh serta persentase bahan organik. Data pengamatan yang didapatkan dari uji lab kemudian dianalisis dengan Analisis sidik ragam (Uji F) taraf 5%. Apabila ditemukan pengaruh nyata pada data perlakuan, maka uji lanjut DMRT 5% dilakukan dan dilanjutkan dengan analisis korelasi dan regresi untuk mengetahui interaksi antar parameter pengamatan. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan aplikasi liat dan kompos mampu meningkatkan kapasitas air tersedia pada kedalaman 0 – 30 cm dan 30 – 60 cm tanah berpasir yang berasal dari Desa Bambang. Aplikasi 50% tanah liat dan kompos memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter tersebut dengan meningkatkan kapasitas air tersedia sebesar 48.4% pada kedalaman satu dan 23.67% pada kedalaman kedua. Pada parameter utama konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh kedalaman 0 – 30 cm perlakuan terbaik ditunjukkan pada perlakuan penambahan kompos dan liat 25% dengan penurunan laju KHJ sebesar 65%, sedangkan pada kedalaman 30 – 60 cm ditunjukkan pada perlakuan penambahan liat 50% dengan penurunan laju KHJ sebesar 75.3%. KAT, persentase liat, porositas dan bahan organik tanah secara bersamaan memengaruhi konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh. Kandungan bahan organik tanah berpengaruh paling besar terhadap KHJ dan disusul oleh KAT, persentase liat, dan total porositas.
English Abstract
Bambang Village, Wajak District is one of the areas in East Java that is currently developed for coffee cultivation. Observations in the field show that the soil in the Bambang Village Coffee field has sandy soil characteristics such as its weak structure and easy to transfers waters. This causes the soil to become porous and water can easily escape. The movement of water in the soil which is measured in saturated conditions is referred to as saturated hydraulic conductivity (SHC). SHC is influenced by various soil properties such as available water capacity (AWC) and soil organic matter (SOM) content. This research was conducted to find out whether soil management efforts with the addition of clay and compost affect the available water capacity and saturated hydraulic conductivity of coffee plantation soil in Bambang Village, Wajak District, Malang Regency. The research was carried out from February – October 2022 at the Greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya which is located on Jl. Veterans, Ketawanggede, Lowokwaru, Malang City. The method applied was experimental and experimental design with a completely randomized factorial design (CRD-F) with 3 treatment factors, namely: depth K1 (0 – 30 cm), K2 (30 – 60 cm); Dosage of compost M1 (0 tons ha-1) and M2 (20 tons ha-1); and the proportion of clay T1 (0%), T2 (25%), and T3 (50%). The research material in the form of sandy soil was obtained from a coffee field located in Bambang Village, Wajak District, and clay from an Agro Techno Park Jatikerto coffee field located in Jatikerto Village, Kromengan District, Malang Regency. Observational data obtained from lab tests were then analyzed by analysis of variance (Test F) at 5% level. The real effect on the data, then the DMRT 5% further test was carried out and continued with correlation and regression analysis to determine the interaction between the observation parameters Results showed that the application of clay and compost increased the available water capacity at a depth of 0 – 30 cm and 30 – 60 cm of sandy soil from Bambang Village. The application of 50% clay soil and compost showed the best result for the parameters with the increase of water available capacity to 48.4% for the first depth and 23.67% for the second depth. For the saturated hydraulic conductivity parameter, the best treatment at 0 – 30 cm depth is the addition of compost and 25% clay soil with a 65% decrease of SWC, at 30 – 60 cm depth the best treatment has shown in the addition of 50% clay soil with 75.3%. AWC, clay percentage, porosity, and SOM simultaneously influence saturated hydraulic conductivity.
