Suyuti, Ivan Fadilla and Ir. Sri Lestari Purnamaningsih and Dr. Afifuddin Latif Adiredjo (2023) Karakterisasi 6 Genotipe Cabai Rawit Hijau (Capsicum Frustecens) Berdasarkan Karakter Morfologi. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
Adapun karakter kualitatif yaitu warna hipokotil, warna daun, bentuk daun, antosianin pada daun, antosianin node batang, pola bunga, warna mahkota bunga, antosianin anther, pola buah, warna buah muda, sinuasi kulit buah, bentuk pangkal buah, bentuk ujung buah, bentuk buah dominan membujur, antosianin buah, calyx, dan warna. Sedangkan karakter kuantitatif yaitu tinggi tanaman, umur berbunga, umur panen, panjang buah, berat buah, diameter buah, potensi per hektar, daya simpan dan berat 1000 biji.
English Abstract
Chili is one of the horticultural crops that is widely used as a spice in cooking, industry, food and medicine. One type of chili that is widely cultivated and consumed by the public is Capsicum frutescens or commonly known as green chili. The demand for chilies is getting higher every year along with the increasing population, even on religious holidays the demand for chilies increases 10-20% of normal needs. Chilivarieties currently circulating in the community have not been able to meet the needs of the community, especially at the production level. This can happen because the chili varieties on the market have low production levels and are less resistant to disease, especially anthracnose. This study aims to describe the morphological and agronomic characters of the six genotypes of green chilies This research was carried out in June-November 2022 on the yield of CV. Indonesian Borneo Seed located in Karangploso District, Malang Regency, East Java. The planting materials used in the experiment were the genotypes CRR03, CRG18, CRC19, CRK27, CRS22, and CRA43. This study used a non-factorial RAK (Randomized Block Design) and if the F table value was 5% less than the F count, a DMRT (Duncan's Multiple Range Test) was performed with six genotypic treatments consisting of four replications. The observed characters consist of qualitative and quantitative characters. The qualitative characters are hypocotyl color, leaf color, leaf shape, anthocyanin in leaves, stem node anthocyanin, flower pattern, flower crown color, anthocyanin anther, fruit pattern, young fruit color, fruit skin sinuation, fruit base shape, fruit tip shape, dominant longitudinal fruit shape, fruit anthocyanin, calyx, and seed color. While the quantitative characters are plant height, flowering age, harvesting age, fruit length, fruit weight, fruit diameter, potential per hectare, storability and weight of 1000 seeds. The data obtained from the observations, then carried out ANOVA analysis with a level of 5% and if the genotype treatment was significantly different then a further test was carried out using Duncan's multiple range test (UJBD) with a level of 5%. Based on the analysis of 17 qualitative characters and 10 quantitative characters, the six genotypes were tested. In the ANOVA test all quantitative characters had significantly different values except for fruit diameter, while in the qualitative characters there were differences in several characters, namely hypocotyl color, stem node anthocyanin color, flower crown color, fruit anthocyanin, seed color and taste test for each genotype. The results showed that the genotypes CRR03, CRC19 and CRS22 were the selected genotypes because they had superior morphological and agronomic characters that were in demand by the publ
