Abstract

Lebih banyak waktu dihabiskan dengan pasien oleh perawat daripada oleh petugas kesehatan lainnya. Perawat juga memberikan perawatan holistik 24 jam. Telah dibuktikan bahwa peningkatan beban kerja perawat menurunkan kinerja sebesar 39,9%. 75% perawat di IRNA I RSSA Malang melaporkan beban kerja sedang hingga berat, 25% merasakan beban kerja ringan, dan 55% mengalami penurunan kinerja dalam melakukan tindakan keperawatan, menurut studi percontohan termasuk 20 perawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji hubungan beban kerja perawat dengan kinerja di IRNA RSSA Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan desain cross-sectional dengan menggunakan instrumen CWPS (CRNA Workload Perception Scale) untuk mengukur beban kerja perawat dan instrumen NPI (Nursing Performance Instrument) untuk melihat kinerja perawat. Uji korelasi Pearson menghasilkan koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,251 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,005, menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang substansial antara beban kerja dan kinerja perawat. Prestasi kerja berkurang ketika jumlah pekerjaan meningkatkan jumlah stres di tempat kerja. Pada akhirnya, peningkatan stres terkait pekerjaan dan mekanisme koping yang tidak efektif menghasilkan kinerja kerja yang buruk. Dampak dari beban kerja yang berlebihan pada masalah manajemen kinerja dapat mengakibatkan kinerja dan kualitas layanan yang buruk. Terdapat hubungan negatif yang substansial antara beban kerja perawat dengan kinerja perawat di IRNA I RSSA Malang, menurut temuan penelitian. Sebagai imbalan atas peningkatan kinerja, pimpinan atau pemangku kepentingan harus mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan perawat sesuai dengan beban kerjanya.

English Abstract

More time is spent with patients by nurses than by other health workers. Nurses also give 24-hour holistic care. It has been demonstrated that increased nurse workload decreases performance by 39.9%. 75% of nurses at IRNA I RSSA Malang reported moderate to heavy workloads, 25% felt light workloads, and 55% had decreased performance in carrying out nursing actions, according to a pilot study including 20 nurses. This study aimed to investigate and assess the correlation between nurse workload and performance at IRNA, RSSA Malang. This research is a correlational study with a cross-sectional design using the CWPS (CRNA workload perception scale) instrument to measure nurse workload and the NPI (Nursing Performance Instrument) instrument to examine nurse performance. The Pearson correlation test yielded a correlation coefficient of -0.251 and a significance value of 0.005, indicating a substantial association between nurses' workload and performance. Work performance is diminished when the amount of work increases the amount of stress at work. In the end, increased work-related stress and ineffective coping mechanisms result in poor work performance. The impact of an excessive workload on performance management issues might result in poor performance and service quality. There was a substantial negative association between the workload of nurses and their performance at IRNA I RSSA Malang, according to the findings of the research. As a reward for improved performance, leaders or stakeholders should be able to enhance the welfare of nurses in proportion to their workload.
