Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : 1. Bagaimana latar belakang sosial dan ekonomi kepala keluarga berpengaruh terhadap keputusan rumah tangga untuk menyertakan anak ke dalam pasar tenaga kerja ? 2. Bagaimana faktor pendapatan kepala keluarga berpengaruh terhadap keputusan rumah tangga untuk menyertakan anak ke dalam pasar tenaga kerja ? 3. Bagaimana faktor pendidikan kepala keluarga berpengaruh terhadap keputusan rumah tangga untuk menyertakan anak ke dalam pasar tenaga kerja ? 4. Bagaimana faktor jumlah tanggungan kepala keluarga berpengaruh terhadap keputusan rumah tangga untuk menyertakan anak ke dalam pasar tenaga kerja ?. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi logistik atau logistic regresion., karena variable respon (Y) dalam penelitian ini bersifat biner yang terdiri atas dua (2) kategori yaitu 0 dan 1. Bisa diberi kesimpulan Latar belakang sosial dan ekonomi kepala keluarga memiliki pengaruh terhadap pekerja anak di Indonesia. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari sisi Pendidikan kepala keluarga, Sedangkan Pendapatan dan Jumlah tanggungan kepala keluarga tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan. 2. Pendapatan kepala keluarga tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pekerja anak di Indonesia. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan sudut pandang orang tua terhadap pekerja anak bagi kepala kelarga yang berpendapatan rendah sampai berpendapatan tinggi. 3. Pendidikan kepala keluarga memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pekerja anak di Indonesia. Hal ini membuktikan jika tingkat pendidikan kepala 66 keluarga mempunyai hubungan yang tidak linier dengan tingkat pekerja anak. Berdasarkan hasil estimasi didapatkan bahwa, semakin tinggi pendidikan kepala keluarga maka akan menurunkan kesempatan untuk anaknya bekerja hingga 0.8384268 kali atau sebesar 16.63%. 4. Jumlah tanggungan kepala keluarga tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap pekerja anak di Indonesia. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan sudut pandang jumlah tanggungan kepala keluarga terhadap pekerja anak.
English Abstract
The aims of this research are: 1. How does the social and economic background of the head of the family influence the household's decision to include children in the labor market? 2. How does the income factor of the head of the family influence the household's decision to include children in the labor market? 3. How does the education factor of the head of the family influence the household's decision to include children in the labor market? 4. How does the number of dependents of the head of the family affect the household's decision to include children in the labor market? The analytical tool used is logistic regression or logistic regression, because the response variable (Y) in this study is binary consisting of two (2) categories, namely 0 and 1. It can be concluded that the social and economic background of the head of the family has an influence on child labor in Indonesia. This can be seen from the education side of the head of the family, while the income and number of dependents of the head of the family have no significant effect. 2. The income of the head of the family has no significant effect on child labor in Indonesia. This proves that there is no difference in the perspective of parents on child labor for heads of families with low to high incomes. 3. The education of the head of the family has a significant influence on child labor in Indonesia. This proves that the education level of the head of 66 families has a non-linear relationship with the level of child labour. Based on the estimation results, it was found that the higher the education of the head of the family, the lower the opportunity for their children to work up to 0.8384268 times or 16.63%. 4. The number of dependents of the head of the family has no effect on child labor in Indonesia. This shows that there is no difference in the perspective of the number of dependents of the head of the family on child labour
