Abstract
Meningkatnya penyebaran kasus Covid-19 akan berdampak buruk bagi kesehatan fisik maupun mental khususnya pada kelompok usia lanjut. Lansia merupakan kelompok rentan yang mana membutuhkan perlindungan seperti dukungan dari keluarga atau orang terdekat agar tetap bisa memenuhi segala kebutuhannya, termasuk kebutuhan psikososial. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan psikososial lansia di era pandemi Covid-19. Model penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan pendekatan Cross-Sectional. Penelitian ini melibatkan 65 responden menggunakan teknik purposive sampling pada populasi di Dusun Tomporejo. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan Uji Spearman’s-rho, diketahui (p=0.004) dengan tingkat kemaknaan 0,05. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan psikososial lansia. Kesimpulannya terdapat hubungan antara dukungan keluarga terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan psikososial lansia era pandemi Covid-19. Saran: Keluarga mampu melindungi lansia dengan memberikan dukungan yang kuat dari segi informasi, instrumental, serta kesehatan fisik dan psikososialnya terutama di masa pandemi Covid-19 ini.
English Abstract
The increasing spread of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia, will have a negative impact on physical and mental health, especially in the elderly group. The elderly are a vulnerable group who need protection such as support from family or closest people in order to continue to meet all their needs, including psychosocial needs. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family support and the fulfillment of the psychosocial needs of the elderly in the Covid-19 pandemic era. This research model is a correlational quantitative research with a crosssectional approach. This study involved 65 respondents using a purposive sampling technique on the population in Tomporejo Hamlet. Based on the results of data analysis using the Spearman's-rho test, it is known (p = 0.004) with a significance level of 0.05. This proves that there is a significant relationship between family support and the fulfillment of the psychosocial needs of the elderly. In conclusion, there is a relationship between family support for meeting the psychosocial needs of the elderly during the Covid-19 pandemic era. Suggestion: Families are able to protect the elderly by providing strong support in terms of information, instrumental, and physical and psychosocial health, especially during this Covid-19 pandemic.
