Abstract

Ada banyak peneliti telah melaporkan tubuh awal itu bobot memiliki kontribusi terhadap kinerja produksi dari jenis daging ayam. Petani menganggap bahwa semakin besar berat badan Day Old Chick akan meningkat proporsinya dari bangkai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari Bobot tubuh DOC berbeda pada kualitas karkas ayam pedaging di alam terbuka rumah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Data dianalisis dengan analisis varians (ANOVA), jika ada yang berbeda diikuti dengan Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Bahan yang digunakan di penelitian ini adalah ayam pedaging umur 75 hari dengan Lohman galur MB-202. Data dikumpulkan mulai dari awal dari periode pemeliharaan. Variabel yang diukur adalah persentase karkas dan bagian karkas (persentase dada, persentase paha dan persentase sayap). Perawatannya adalah Bobot tubuh DOC (Day Old Chick) yang berbeda pada P1 (41-43 g), P2 (44-46 g), dan P3 (47-49 g). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis varians, jika ada perbedaan pengaruh perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan (P<0,05) pada persentase karkas, persentase dada, paha persentase dan persentase sayap. Berdasarkan hasil ini studi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari Bobot tubuh DOC yang berbeda terhadap kualitas karkas (carcass persentase, persentase payudara, persentase paha dan sayap persentase)

English Abstract

There are many researchers had reported that initial body weight has a contribution toward the production performance of the meat type chicken. Farmers assume that greater the weight of Day Old Chick body will increasing the proportion of carcasses. This study aimed to determine the effect of different DOC body weight on broiler carcass quality in open house. The method used in this study was experimented with completely randomized design (CRD). Data were analized by analysis of variance (ANOVA), if there was different followed by duncan multiple range test (DMRT). The material used in this study was 75 Day Old Chick broiler with the Lohman MB-202 strain. Data is collected starting from the beginning of the maintenance period. The variables measured were carcass percentage and part of carcass (breast percentage, thigh percentage and wings percentage). The treatment were the different DOC (Day Old Chick) body weights at P1 (41-43 g), P2 (44-46 g), and P3 (47-49 g). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance, if there were differences in the effect of treatment it was continued with Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The results showed that there were no significant differences (P<0.05) in carcass percentage, breast percentage, thigh percentage and wing percentage. Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that there is no significant effect of different DOC body weights on carcass quality (carcass percentage, breast percentage, thigh percentage and wing percentage)
