Abstract

Mempraktikkan teknologi Green IT yang tepat di lingkungan institusi pendidikan dengan tujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang berbasis ramah lingkungan, mengoptimalkan pekerjaan yang ada agar menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien dan sebagai kampanye bahwa penerapan teknologi ini dapat diimplementasikan mulai dari dunia pendidikan dan menjadi dasar pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa dalam menerapkan teknologi yang ramah lingkungan dalam dunia kerja maupun dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Sikap (Attitude), Norma Subjektif (Subjective Norm), dan Persepsi Kontrol Perilaku (Perceived Behavioral Control) terhadap Niat (Intention) mahasiswa untuk mempraktikkan Green IT pada mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Ilmu Administrasi Universitas Brawijaya. Pengambilan data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner secara online menggunakan Google Form. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Sikap (Attitude) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Niat (Intention) mempraktikkan Green IT pada kalangan mahasiswa, Norma Subjektif (Subjective Norm) berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Niat (Intention) mempraktikkan Green IT pada kalangan mahasiswa dan Persepsi Kontrol Perilaku (Perceived Behavioural Control) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Niat (Intention) mempraktikkan Green IT pada kalangan mahasiswa. Seluruh variabel yang digunakan juga secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap Niat (Intention) untuk mempraktikkan Green IT.

English Abstract

Practicing appropriate Green IT technology in educational institutions with the aim of creating an environmentally friendly work environment, optimizing existing jobs to be more effective and efficient and as a campaign that the application of this technology can be implemented starting from the world of education and become the basis of learning for students in applying environmentally friendly technology in the world of work and in everyday life. This research uses explanatory research with a quantitative approach. This study also aims to determine the effect of Attitude, Subjective Norm, and Perceived Behavioral Control on the Intention of students to practice Green IT on active students of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya. The data collection of this research was done by distributing online questionnaires using Google Form. The results of this study indicate that Attitude has a positive and significant effect on Intention to practice Green IT among students, Subjective Norm has a positive and insignificant effect on Intention to practice Green IT among students and Control Perception Behavior has a positive and significant effect on the Intention to practice Green IT among students. All variables used also simultaneously affect the Intention to practice Green IT.
