Abstract
Arsitektur vernakular Buton saat ini terus menurun keberadaannya. Istana Malige merupakan salah satu arsitektur vernakular Buton yang sangat dipertahankan sampai saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengaruh elemen-elemen selubungibangunaniterhadapikinerjailingkunganitermalipada arsitektur vernakular Buton. Metodeiyangidigunakan pada penelitianiini yaitu metode desktiptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui kajian amatan visual dan pengukuran lapangan yang kemudian dijabarkan dan dibandingkan dengan standar kenyamanan yang ada. Hasil dari penelitian ini pada rumah Malige memiliki kinerja lingkungan termal yang sudah baik yang dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa factor seperti orientasi bangunan, selubung dinding, selubung lantai bangunan, serta bukaan pada setiap lantai.
English Abstract
Butonese vernacular architecture is currently declining in existence. Malige Palace is one of Buton’s vernacular architecture that has been preserved to this day. This study aims to understand the effect of building envelope elements on the thermal environmental performance of Butonese vernacular architecture. Theimethodiused inithisistudyiisiaidescriptiveimethod withiaiqualitative approach though visual observation studies and field measurements which are then measured and compared with existing comfort standards. The results of this study on malige houses have good thermal enviromentla performance ehich ca be influenced by several factors such as building orientation, cladding walls, building floor envelopes and opening on each floor.
