Abstract
Kegiatan wisata dianggap sebagai salah satu sumber pertumbuhan ekonomi dalam pendapatan dunia. Pada skala internasional, pariwisata telah diakui sebagai ekspor terbesar dalam perdagangan bagi banyak negara. Di tingkat negara, pariwisata telah memungkinkan restrukturisasi ekonomi dengan menggeser tenaga kerja dari sektor primer seperti pertanian dan manufaktur ke sektor jasa. Kegiatan wisata juga merupakan bagian dari pertumbuhan ekonomi untuk meningkatkan infrastruktur atau menambah destinasi atau landmark baru untuk menarik lebih banyak wisatawan asing atau wisatawan lokal untuk berkunjung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penerimaan pariwisata & wisman terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan data sekunder tahun 1990-2020 di Indonesia. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerimaan pariwisata dan kedatangan wisatawan mancanegara berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap PDB. Faktor yang paling dominan pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia adalah dua faktor yang berdiri sendiri yaitu penerimaan pariwisata dan kedatangan wisatawan mancanegara.
English Abstract
Tourist activities are considered to be one of the sources of economic growth in the world income. On an international scale, tourism has been recognized as the largest export in trade for many nations. At the country level, tourism has enabled economic restructuring by shifting the labor force from primary sectors such as agriculture and manufacturing to the service sectors. Tourist activities also part of the economic growth to increase the infrastructure or adding new destination or landmark to attract more foreign tourist or local tourist to visit. This study aims to determine the extent of tourism receipts & foreign tourists on economic growth in Indonesia. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, using secondary data from 1990-2020 in Indonesia. The analysis used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that tourism receipts and foreign tourist arrivals have a positive and significant effect on GDP. The factors that have the most dominant influence on economic growth in Indonesia are the two independent factors, namely tourism receipts and foreign tourist arrivals
