Abstract
Praktik filantropi di Indonesia diakui dunia sebagai negara paling dermawan di dunia, terutama posisi teratas pada indikator partisipasi dalam alokasi waktu menjadi relawan. Kontribusi relawan dalam kegiatan kerelawanan merupakan perilaku altruistik yang tidak hanya mementingkan diri sendiri tetapi merupakan cerminan dari homo islamicus. Perilaku homo islamicus berorientasi pada kesejahteraan dunia dan akhirat atau falah. Untuk mencapai falah, seorang individu harus menerapkan maqashid syariah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lima dimensi maqashid syariah terhadap kepuasan hidup relawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data World Value Survey Wave 7 dengan sampel sebanyak 504 relawan yang aktif menjadi anggota organisasi amal di Indonesia menggunakan metode regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan dimensi maqashid syariah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan hidup relawan, kecuali dimensi akal dan keturunan. Para peneliti dunia dari berbagai disiplin ilmu telah banyak mengembangkan penelitian tentang kesejahteraan subjektif khususnya di kalangan relawan, namun pendekatan maqashid syariah sebagai ukuran kesejahteraan subjektif masih jarang dilakukan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini akan mengisi research gap yang ada mengenai analisis kesejahteraan terhadap kepuasan hidup relawan dari sudut pandang ekonomi Islam melalui dimensi maqashid syariah.
English Abstract
The practice of philanthropy in Indonesia is recognized worldwide as the most generous country in the world, especially in the top position on the participation indicator in the allocation of volunteer time. The contribution of volunteers in volunteer activities is an altruistic behavior that is not only selfish but is a reflection of homo islamicus. The behavior of homo islamicus is oriented towards the world's welfare and the hereafter or Falah. In order to achieve Falah, an individual must apply maqashid sharia. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of the five dimensions of maqashid sharia on the life satisfaction of volunteers. This study uses World Value Survey Wave 7 data with a sample of 504 volunteers who are active members of charitable organizations in Indonesia using the logistic regression method. The results showed that overall the maqashid sharia dimension had a significant effect on the life satisfaction of the volunteers, except for the dimensions of reason and heredity. World researchers from various scientific disciplines have extensively researched subjective well-being, especially among volunteers. However, the maqashid sharia approach is rarely carried out as a measure of subjective well-being. Therefore, this study will fill in the existing research gap regarding the welfare analysis of the life satisfaction of volunteers from the perspective of Islamic economics through the dimensions of maqasid sharia.
