Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor-faktor makroekonomi dan demografi terhadap permintaan asuransi jiwa syariah di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif denagn metode analisis regresi linier berganda berbasis Ordinary Least Square (OLS) dengan rangkaian data tahunan dari 2009 sampai 2019. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel GDP per kapita, inflasi, dan pertumbuhan sektor keuangan berpengaruh signifikan (positif) terhadap permintaan asuransi jiwa syariah di Indonesia. Selanjutnya, variabel depedency ratio berpengaruh signfikan (negatif) sedangkan variabel tingkat pendidikan tidak berpengaruh terhadap permintaan asuransi jiwa syariah di Indonesia.

English Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of macroeconomic and demographic factors on the demand for sharia life insurance in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative method using the multiple linear regression analysis method based on Ordinary Least Square (OLS) with annual data series from 2009 to 2019. The results of the analysis show that the variables GDP per capita, inflation, and growth in the financial sector have a significant (positive) effect on insurance demand of sharia in Indonesia. Furthermore, the dependency ratio variable has a significant (negative) effect, while the education level variable has no effect on the demand for sharia life insurance in Indonesia.
