Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang menentukan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia dan untuk melihat apakah perang dagang memang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Variabel yang dianalisis adalah ekspor, impor dan inflasi sebagai variabel independen dengan menggunakan data sekunder bulanan periode 2017-2020 sebagai sampel, dan variabel perang dagang itu sendiri sebagai dummy. Produk Domestik Bruto digunakan sebagai variabel terikat untuk mengukur pertumbuhan ekonomi. Metode statistik yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, model regresi berganda, dan uji-t sampel berpasangan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa ekspor berpengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, sedangkan impor dan inflasi tidak. Perang dagang, bagaimanapun, memiliki pengaruh yang menguntungkan pada perang dagang, menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda yang diperoleh dari uji-t sampel berpasangan.
English Abstract
This study aims to analyze the factors that determines economic growth in Indonesia and to see whether trade war does affects economic growth in Indonesia. The variable analyzed were exports, imports and inflation as independent variables using secondary monthly data from 2017 to 2020 as samples, and the variable of trade war itself as a dummy. Gross Domestic Product is used as a dependent variable to measure the economic growth. The statistical methods applied are descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, multiple regression model, and paired sample t-test. The findings showed that exports positively influences economic growth, while imports and inflation does not. Trade war, however, has a favorable influence on trade war, showing a different result obtained from the paired sample t-test.
