Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan membuktikan secara empiris: Apakah Organizational Performance dipengaruhi oleh Transformational Leadership melalui Learning Organization, Organizational Commitment, dan melalui Organizational Culture. Apakah Organizational Performance dipengaruhi oleh Organizational Commitment melalui Altruism. Apakah Organizational Performance dipengaruhi oleh Transformational Leadership melalui Altruism Populasi penelitian adalah Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak Kementerian Sosial RI diseluruh Indonesia yang tersebar di 34 Provinsi sebanyak 6.875. Sampel penelitian yaitu 185 Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak dengan Akreditasi A. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sampel jenuh dan analisis data penelitian menggunakan PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model). Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa Learning Organization mampu memediasi secara penuh pengaruh Transformational Leadership terhadap Organizational Performance. Organizational Culture mampu memediasi secara penuh pengaruh Transformational Leadership terhadap Organizational Performance. Disisi lain Organizational Commitment tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh Transformational Leadership terhadap Organizational Performance. Altruism tidak memoderasi dan tidak memperkuat pengaruh Organizational Commitment terhadap Organizational Performance. Altruism memoderasi dan memperkuat pengaruh Transformational Leadership terhadap Organizational Performance. Kontribusi teori dalam model penelitian ini bahwa variabel Transformational Leadership, Organizational Performance, Learning Organization, Organizational Culture, Altruism memperkuat dan mendukung sinergi antara Teori Hierarkhi kebutuhan (Hierarchy of need theory) dan Teori Pertukaran Sosial (Social exchange theory) serta sinergi dengan Teori konflik (Conflict Theory) dalam rangka meningkatkan Organizational Performance pada Lembaga Kesejahteraan Anak di Indonesia. Kontribusi kebaruan dalam penelitian yaitu kebaruan variabel Altruism terkait kolaborasi dalam internal organisasi dengan pendekatan Teori Hierarkhi kebutuhan (Hirarchy of Need Theory) dalam kerangka hubungan yang memoderasi variabel Transformational Leadership dan Organizational Performance. Studi ini menemukan temuan menarik bahwa Organizational Commitment tidak berpengaruh terhadap Organizational Performance, hasil ini berbeda dengan hipotesis yang diajukan, tidak mendukung Teori Pertukaran Sosial (Social exchange theory). Kebaruan yang lain memasukkan variabel Altruism terkait kolaborasi dalam organisasi dengan pendekatan Teori Pertukaran Sosial (Social Exchange Theory) dalam kerangka hubungan yang memoderasi variabel Organizational Commitment dan Organizational Performance.

English Abstract

This study aims to test and prove empirically: Is Organizational Performance Influenced by Transformational Leadership Learning Organization, Organizational Commitment, and through Organizational Culture. Is Organizational Performance Influenced by Organizational Commitment through Altruism. Is Organizational Performance Affected by Transformational Leadership through Altruism The research population is the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs' Child Welfare Institutions throughout Indonesia, which are spread across 34 provinces of 6,875. The research sample is 185 Child Welfare Institutions with Accreditation A. Sampling uses the saturated method and research data analysis uses PLSSEM (Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model). The results of the study prove that Learning Organization is able to fully mediate the influence of Transformational Leadership on Organizational Performance. Organizational Culture is able to fully mediate the influence of Transformational Leadership on Organizational Performance. On the other hand, Organizational Commitment is not able to mediate the influence of Transformational Leadership on Organizational Performance. Altruism does not moderate and does not strengthen the effect of Organizational Commitment on Organizational Performance. Moderate altruism and strengthen the influence of Transformational Leadership on Organizational Performance. The theory's contribution in this research model is that the variables of Transformational Leadership, Organizational Performance, Learning Organization, Organizational Culture, Altruism strengthen and support the synergy between Hierarchy of need theory and Social exchange theory and synergy with conflict theory ( Conflict Theory) in order to improve Organizational Performance at Child Welfare Institutions in Indonesia. The contribution of novelty in research is the novelty of the Altruism variable related to collaboration in internal organizations with the Hierarchy of Need Theory approach in the framework of relationships that moderate the Transformational Leadership and Organizational Performance variables. This study finds interesting findings that Organizational Commitment has no effect on Organizational Performance, this result is different from the proposed hypothesis, and does not support the Social exchange theory. Another novelty includes the Altruism variable related to collaboration in the organizational approach with the Social Exchange Theory approach in the framework of the relationship that moderates the variables of Organizational Commitment and Organizational Performance.
