Abstract

Stunting merupakan suatu kondisi gagal tumbuh akibat kekurangan gizi kronis yang terjadi pada balita. Posyandu merupakan sarana intervensi program gizi spesifik yang dilakukan oleh Kementrian Kesehatan. Peran serta kader posyandu sangat penting dalam upaya penurunan prevalensi stunting. Pemerintah Kabupaten Malang memberlakukan program insentif uang tunai kepada seluruh kader posyandu untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan pengaruh pemberian insentif uang tunai terhadap kinerja kader di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pagelaran dan Puskesmas Gedangan, Kabupaten Malang. selain itu untuk mengetahui apakah pengetahuan dan motivasi merupakan faktor yang memediasi hubungan pemberian insentif uang tunai dengan kinerja kader posyandu. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observational analitik dengan menggunakan teknik Proporsional cluster random sampling pada 125 kader Puskesmas Pagelaran dan 125 kader Puskesmas Gedangan. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dan diinterpretasikan menggunakan program komputer SPSS Window release versi 2.1. Hasil uji statistik homogenitas menyatakan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan karakteristik usia (p=0,669), pekerjaan (p=0,218) dan pendidikan terahir (p=0,789) antara kelompok Puskesmas Pagelaran dan Puskesmas Gedangan. Selain itu Hasil uji beda menyatakan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan karakteristik pengetahuan (p=0,289), motivasi (p=0,745) dan kinerja (p=0,916) antara kelompok Puskesmas Pagelaran dan Puskesmas Gedangan Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa secara langsung pemberian insentif tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja kader (p>0,05), selain itu pengetahuan dan motivasi merupakan variabel yang memediasi pengaruh pemberian insentif terhadap kinerja kader di Puskesmas Pagelaran, akan tetapi pengetahuan dan motivasi bukan variabel yang memediasi pengaruh pemberian insentif terhadap kinerja kader di Puskesmas Gedangan

English Abstract

Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive due to chronic malnutrition that occurs in infants. Posyandu is a means of specific nutrition program intervention carried out by the Ministry of Health. The role of posyandu cadres is very important in the effort to reduce the prevalence of stunting. The Malang Regency Goverment has implemented a cash incentive program for all posyandu cadres to improve their performance. This study aims to compare the effect of giving cash incentives to cadre performance in pagelaran and gedangan Health Center, Malang Regency. in addition to knowing whether knowledge and motivation are factors that mediate the relationship of providing cash incentives with the performance of posyandu cadres. This study used an analytical observational design using proportional cluster random sampling technique on 125 Community Health Center cadres in pagelaran and 125 Community Health Center cadres in Gedangan. The results of the study were analyzed and interpreted using the SPSS Window release computer program version 2.1. The result of the homogeneity statistical test stated that there were no differences in the caracteristics of age (p=0,669),, occupation(p=0,218) and the lastest education (p=0,789) between pagelaran and gedangan. In addition, the results of the different tests stated that there were no differences in the caracteristics of knowledge (p=0,289), motivation (p=0,745) and performance (p=0,916) between pagelaran and gedangan. The results of this study prove that giving incentives does not affect the performance of cadres (p>0.05), besides that knowledge and motivation are variables that mediate the effect of giving incentives to cadre performance in pagelaran Public Health Center, but knowledge and motivation are not mediating variables the effect of giving incentives to cadre performance of in Gedangan Public Health Center.
