Abstract

Pengetahuan dan sikap seseorang memiliki peran yang penting dalam melakukan perilaku pencegahan COVID-19. Pemahaman literasi informasi yang cukup memadai juga menjadi bagian penting dalam penerapannya. Salah satunya mahasiswa yang merupakan bagian dari masyarakat yang dapat memberikan informasi serta edukasi secara benar dan detail mengenai pencegahan terhadap COVID-19. Informasi yang diberikan dapat sercara langsung maupun lewat secara tidak langsung. Informasi berupa wacana hidup sehat serta cara langsung untuk melakukan penanganan bila terkena virus COVID-19. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh literasi informasi COVID-19, terhadap perilaku taat protokol kesehatan pada masyarakat Desa Batangsaren Kecamatan Kauman Kabupaten Tulungagung dengan sampel sebesar 97 orang. Hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa literasi informasi kesehatan berpengaruh terhadap ketaatan saat melaksanakan protokol kesehatan. Perilaku secara positif berpengaruh pada ketaatan saat melaksanakan protokol kesehatan. Sikap secara positif berpengaruh pada ketaatan saat melaksanakan protokol kesehatan. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulan bahwa literasi informasi sangat berpengaruh dan penting dalam membentuk sikap dan perilaku penduduk desa Batangsaren pada saat melaksanakan protokol kesehatan. Oleh karena itu pemerintah Desa Batangsaren seyogyanya melakukan berbagai program yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan literasi informasi tentang COVID-19 kepada penduduk desa.Hal ini dilakukan agar terputusnya rantai penularan virus COVID-19 di Desa Batangsaren Kecamatan Kauman Kabupaten Tulungagung

English Abstract

Knowledge and attitude have an important role in carrying out COVID-19 prevention behavior. An adequate understanding of information literacy is also an important part of its implementation. One of them is a student who is part of the community who can provide correct and detailed information and education regarding prevention of COVID-19. The information provided can be directly or indirectly. Information in the form of discourse on healthy living as well as direct ways to handle it if exposed to the COVID-19 virus. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of COVID-19 information literacy on the behavior of obeying health protocols in the people of Batangsaren Village, Kauman District, Tulungagung Regency with a sample of 97 people. The results of the research that have been carried out show that health information literacy affects compliance when implementing health protocols. Behavior positively affects compliance when implementing health protocols. Attitude positively affects compliance when implementing health protocols. The results of this study conclude that information literacy is very influential and important in shaping the attitudes and behavior of Batangsaren villagers when implementing health protocols. Therefore, the Batangsaren Village government should carry out various programs aimed at increasing information literacy about COVID-19 to villagers. This is done to break the chain of transmission of the COVID-19 virus in Batangsaren Village, Kauman District, Tulungagung Regency.
