Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel corporate social responsibility (X) terhadap employee engagement (Y1) dan pengaruh corporate social responsibility terhadap kepuasan kerja (Y2) Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 40 karyawan Hotel Ollino Garden Malang, Nilai yang diperoleh dari regresi multivariat yang menunjukkan pengaruh variabel corporate social responsibility (X) terhadap employee engagement (Y1) memiliki koefisien beta sebesar 2,081 dengan signifikansi 0,000. Variabel corporate social responsibility (X) terhadap kepuasan kerja (Y2) memiliki koefisien beta sebesar 0,319 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,009. Saran yang diberikan penulis kepada perusahaan adalah sebaiknya pihak perusahaan mempertahankan tingkat corporate social responsibility atau bahkan lebih ditingkatkan lagi. Salah satu cara yang mungkin bisa perusahaan terapkan adalah dengan membuat suatu program dimana pihak Hotel Ollino Garden Malang memberikan suatu apresiasi kepada karyawan dalam bentuk program “Best Employee Of The Month”. Bagi karyawan terbaik pada bulan tersebut, maka karyawan berhak mendapatkan hadiah baik berupa uang ataupun barang.

English Abstract

The objective of research is to describe and explain the significant influence of variable corporate social responsibility (X), on employee engagement (Y1), knowing corporate social responsibility (X) on job satisfaction (Y2). Research type is explanatory research with quantitative approach. Sampling studied were 40 employees of Hotel Ollino Garden Malang. Data analysis uses decriptive analysis and linear regression support by SPSS for windows 16.00. version. The value has already got from multivariate regression analysis so that variable corporate social responsibility (X) on employee engagement (Y1) has beta coefficient amount 2,081 with significant 0,000. Variable corporate social responsibility (X) on job satisfaction (Y2) has been coefficient amount 0,319 with significant 0,009. This reasearch suggested that the company should maintaince or even improve the reate of corporate social responsibility (CSR). One of the effort that can be done by Hotel Ollino Garden Malang is to make a “best employee of the month” program as an appreciation to employees. Every month, it will be announced who is the best employee and the photo will also be displayed, the company could also give money or thing as a reward for the best employee. This program will be useful and important because it can boost morale an motivate employee to work harder.
