Abstract
Tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kondisi sosial ekonomi tenaga yang meliputi umur, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, bidang pendidikan, status perkawinan, lokasi tempat tinggal, pengalaman dan upah terhadap status tenaga kerja terdidik di Indonesia. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini data sekunder yang diperoleh dari data BPS berupa data Survey Angkatan Kerja Nasional (SAKERNAS) 2016. Dalam hal ini, status tenaga kerja terdidik di Indonesia dibagi menjadi tiga kategori yaitu undereducation, well-matched, dan overeducation dengan menggunakan metode multinomial logit. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa 22% tenaga kerja overeducation, 9% tenaga kerja undereducation, dan 69% tenaga kerja well-matched di Indonesia. Berdasarkan estimasi, variabel umur, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, bidang pendidikan, status perkawinan, lokasi tempat tinggal dan pengalaman memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap undereducation. Selanjutnya, variabel usia, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, bidang pendidikan, pengalaman dan upah memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan pada tenaga kerja well-matched. Dan akhirnya, variabel usia, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, bidang pendidikan, status perkawinan, lokasi tempat tinggal, pengalaman dan upah memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap overeducation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin bertambahnya umur semakin tinggi pula probabilitas menjadi tenaga kerja well-matched dan undereducation. Selain itu tenaga kerja perempuan memiliki probabilitas yang lebih tinggi menjadi tenaga kerja well-matched dan undereducation. Sedangkan tenaga kerja yang belum menikah memiliki probabilitas yang lebih tinggi menjadi tenaga kerja overeducation
English Abstract
This aim of this paper to determine the socio-economic conditions, consisting of age, gender, level of education, field of education, marital status, residence location, experience and wage influence the status of educated workers in Indonesia. This study uses National Labour Force Survey (SAKERNAS) 2016 data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics. In addition, multinomial logit model is used to examine the effects of socio-economic condition on the educated workers. In this case, the status of educated workers in Indonesia divided into three categories which are undereducation, well-matched, and overeducation. The result of this result found that 22% of educated workers is overeducated, 9% of educated workers is undereducated, and 69% of educated workers is well- matched in Indonesia. Based on the estimation, variable age, gender, level of education, field of education, marital status, residence location and experience have a significant effect on undereducation. Furthermore, variable age, gender, level of education, field of education, experience and wage have a significant effect on well-matched. And finally, variable age, gender, level of education, field of education, marital status, residence location, experience and wage have a significant effect on overeducation. This research shows that the increasing age have a higher probability of well- matched and undereducation. In addition, female workers have a higher probability of match and undereducation. Furthermore, unmarried workers have a higher probability of overeducation
