Abstract
Kompensasi finansial dan non finansial merupakan alat yang dapat dipergunakan oleh perusahaan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan kinerja karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji dan menjelaskan pengaruh signifikan variabel kompensasi finansial terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) Area Malang, menguji dan menjelaskan pengaruh signifikan variabel kompensasi finansial terhadap variabel motivasi kerja karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) Area Malang, menguji dan menjelaskan pengaruh signifikan kompensasi non finansial terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) Area Malang, menguji dan menjelaskan pengaruh signifikan variabel kompensasi non finansial terhadap variabel motivasi kerja karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) Area Malang, menguji dan menjelaskan pengaruh signifikan variabel motivasi kerja terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) Area Malang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian survei yang bersifat penjelasan (explanatory research). Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 74 karyawan tetap PT. PLN (Persero) Area Malang. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini ada dua yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa mean variabel kompensasi finansial tergolong dalam kategori sangat baik (4,24), mean variabel kompensasi non finansial tergolong dalam kategori sangat baik (4,29), mean variabel motivasi kerja tergolong dalam kategori baik (3,95), dan mean variabel kinerja karyawan tergolong dalam kategori baik (3,93). Hasil analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan bahwa variabel kompensasi finansial berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan, variabel kompensasi finansial berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap variabel motivasi kerja, variabel kompensasi non finansial berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan, variabel kompensasi non finansial berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap variabel motivasi kerja, variabel motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan
English Abstract
Financial and non-financial compensation is a tool that could be used by companies to improve employee’s motivation and employee’s performance. The purpose of this study to test and explain the significant effect of financial compensation variable to employee performance variable of employee’s PT. PLN (Persero) Malang area, test and explain the significant effect of financial compensation variable to work motivation variable of employee’s PT. PLN (Persero) Malang area, test and explain the significant effect of non-financial compensation variable to employee performance variable of employee’s PT. PLN (Persero) Malang area, test and explain the significant effect of non-financial compensation variable to work motivation variable of employee’s PT. PLN (Persero) Malang area, test and explain the significant effect of work motivation variable to employee performance variable of employee’s PT. PLN (Persero) Malang area. The type of research is a survey research is the explanation (explanatory research). Total of samples in this study were 74 employee’s of PT. PLN (Persero) Malang area. Analysis of data in this study there are two kinds, descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Results of descriptive statistical analysis showed that mean of financial compensation variable classified in the excellent category (4,24), mean of non-financial compensation variable classified in the excellent category (4,29), mean of work motivation variable classified in good category (3,95), and mean of employee performance variable classified in good category (3,93). Results of inferential statistical analysis shows that financial compensation variable is significant and it has positive impact on employee performance variable, financial compensation variable is significant and it has positive impact on work motivation variable, non- financial compensation variable is significant and it has positive impact on employee performance variable, non-financial compensation variable is significant and it has positive impact on work motivation variable, work motivation variable is significant and it has positive impact on employee performance variable
