Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menguji dan mengalisis pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap keunggulan bersaing dimediasi inovasi dan orientasi pasar pada UKM kain tenun di kota Kupang. Sampel penelitian dilakukan pada UKM kain tenun di kota Kupang sebanyak 50 UKM sebagai responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan sampling jenuh. Analisis data menggunakan PLS (Partial Least Square). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan orientasi kewirausahaan terbukti berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing. Begitu pula dengan inovasi dan orientasi pasar berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing. Dalam penelitian ini, inovasi dan orientasi pasar sebagai partial mediation dalam hubungan orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap keunggulan bersaing. Implikasi praktis penelitian ini dapat memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman bagi pengusaha UKM kain tenun dalam meningkatkan inovasi dan oriantasi pasar sebagai keunggulan bersaing melalui pelaksanaan orientasi kewirausahaan.

The objective of this study is to assess and analyze the influence of entrepreneurial orientation on competitive advantage with the mediation of innovation and market orientation in small and medium-sized tenun enterprises in Kupang. The sample of this study is fifty small and medium-sized tenun enterprises in Kupang, selected using saturated sampling. The data of this study was analyzed using Partial Least Squares. This study finds that entrepreneurial orientation positively and significantly influences competitive advantage and that innovation and market orientation positively and significantly influence competitive advantage. Furthermore, innovation and market orientation partially mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and competitive advantage. The practical implication of this study is that it provides knowledge and understanding for small and medium-sized tenun entrepreneurs in their effort of improving innovation and market orientation as competitive advantages through the implementation of entrepreneurial orientation.
