Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan produksi rokok legal dan banderol rokok terhadap peredaran rokok ilegal di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan memakai metode regresi data panel dengan menggunakan data time-series. Adapun sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 600 data bulanan dari tahun 2010 hingga tahun 2019 yang bersumber dari Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai. Penelitian menunjukan hasil bahwa variabel jumlah rokok legal (X1) dan harga rokok legal (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap peredaran rokok ilegal (Y) di Indonesia, sedangkan untuk variabel harga rokok ilegal (X3) berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap peredaran rokok ilegal (Y) di Indonesia selama periode tahun 2010 hingga 2019.

English Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of legal cigarette production and cigarette excise tape on illegal cigarette circulation in Indonesia. This quantitative research uses panel data regression in analyzing the time-series data. The samples are 600 monthly data from 2010 to 2019 obtained from the Directorate General of Tax and Excise. This study finds that the number of legal cigarettes (X1) and the price of legal cigarette (X2) positively and significantly influence the illegal cigarette circulation (Y) in Indonesia and that the price of illegal cigarette (X3) negatively and significantly affects the illegal cigarette circulation (Y) in Indonesia in the period of 2010-2019
