Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh stabilitas politik, infrastruktur telekomunikasi, kebebasan ekonomi, dan nilai tukar terhadap Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) atau investasi asing langsung di negara ASEAN Plus Three (APT) pada tahun 2002-2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode regresi data panel dengan random effect model. Adapun sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersumber dari Bank Dunia, World Governance Indicator, International Telecommunivation Union, dan The Heritage Foundation. Hasil pada analisis ini menunjukan bahwa variabel variabel infrastruktur telekomunikasi, dan stabilitas politik memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap FDI sedangkan nilai tukar memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap FDI. Variabel kebebasan ekonomi tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap FDI
English Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of political stability, telecommunications infrastructure, economic freedom, and exchange rates on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflows in ASEAN Plus Three (APT) countries in 2002-2019. This study uses a quantitative approach with panel data regression method with a random effect model. The samples used in this study were sourced from the World Bank, World Governance Indicators, International Telecommunication Union, and The Heritage Foundation. The results of this analysis show that the variables of telecommunication infrastructure, and political stability have a positive and significant effect on FDI, while the exchange rate has a negative and significant effect on FDI. The variable of economic freedom has no significant effect on FDI.
