Abstract

Corona disease 2019 (Covid-19) muncul diakhir tahun 2019 Kota Wuhan Cina yang menyebar diberbagai negara, termasuk Indonesia pada awal Maret 2020. Individu yang dinyatakan terkonfirmasi Covid-19 harus menjalani isolasi dirumah sakit atau dirumah, sesuai dengan gejala yang dialami tanpa kunjungan keluarga, sedangkan dukungan keluarga sangat diperlukan bagi pasien. Gejala tress merupakan salah satu dampak dari gangguan psikis yang dapat terjadi saat menjalani isolasi. Diharapkan dengan adanya dukungan keluarga dapat menurunkan tinkat stress pada pasien. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat stress pasien Covid-19 yang menjalani isolasi mandiri. Penelitian menggunakan desain analisis korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada pasien Covid-19 yang menjalani isolasi mandiri sejumlah 36 orang di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Singosari Malang. Variable independent (bebas) pada penelitian ini adalah dukungan keluarga dan Variabel dependen (tergantung) penelitian ini adalah tingkat stress pasien Covid-19 yang menjalani isolasi mandiri. Analisa data dilakukan dengan uji statictic non parametric Spearman Rank. Berdasarkan analisis data didapatkan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) -463 dengan taraf signifikan (p-value=0.000). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negative searah antara dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat stress pasien Covid-19 yang menjalani isolasi mandiri. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran anggota keluarga akan pentingnya dukungan keuarga bagi pasien Covid-19 yang menjalani isolasi mandiri.

English Abstract

Corona disease 2019 (Covid-19) appeared in the end of 2019 in Wuhan City, China, which spread to various countries, including Indonesia in early March 2020. People who were confirmed Covid-19, they must do a self isolation at the hospital or at home, depend on the symptoms, without any family visits, while family support is needed for patients. Stress is one of the symptom effects of psychological disorders, that occur during isolation. While family support can reduce level of patient stress. The purpose of study to determine the relationship between family support and the stress level of self-isolation Covid-19 patients. The study used a correlation analysis design with a cross sectional approach. The research was performed to 36 Covid-19 patients who conduct a self-isolation in the area of Singosari Public Health Center, Malang. The independent variable (level of family support) and the dependent variable (level of stress) in this study was the stress level of Covid-19 patients who performed self isolation. The analysis utilized a Spearman Rank test non-parametric. Based on the data analysis, the correlation coefficient value (r) is -463 with significant level (p-value = 0.000). The conclusion of the study shows that there is a unidirectional negative relationship between family support and the stress level of self-isolation Covid-19 patients. The results of this study are expected to increase the awareness of family about the importance of family support for Covid-19 patients who conduct self isolation.
