Abstract
Fenomena bertambahnya jumlah keluarga miskin bertolakbelakang dengan keberhasilan kelompok afinitas Desa Mandiri Pangan dalam mengembangkan usaha ternak kambing di Desa Tempuran. Analisis modal sosial dengan metode kualitatif studi kasus menjelaskan bentuk dan peran modal sosial dalam pengentasan kemiskinan di Desa Tempuran. Hasil penelitian bahwa kepemimpinan kelompok afinitas menjadi kunci keberhasilan perkembangan kelompok. Unsur trust berupa ability, keterbukaan, egaliter, tidak merugikan orang lain, dan kejujuran menciptakan suasana harmonis dalam perguliran ternak. Norma berupa kewajiban hadir pertemuan, mempertahankan aset perguliran, kepedulian sosial, keikhlasan pengurus, dan sanksi sosial mendukung optimalisasi pemanfaatan modal usaha ternak kambing. Jaringan berupa kelompok afiitas, Kelompok Wanita Tani, jimpitan, juragan jagung, bakul kambing, pedagang pisang mempermudah akses ekonomi dalam usaha pertanian dan peternakan, serta jaringan Rukun Tetangga mampu memberdayakan ekonomi warga melalui kerjasama gadohan bagi hasil ternak.
English Abstract
The increasingly poor families is the opposites of the success of an affinity group named Mandiri Pangan Village in developing goat farming in Tempuran Village. The analysis of social capital with a case study qualitative research explains the form and role of social capital on the eradication of poverty in Tempuran Village. The results of this research show that the leadership of an affinity group becomes a key to a successful group development. Furthermore, the trust element in the form of ability, openness, egalitarian, mean no harm to others, and honesty create a good atmosphere in the sharecropped system. Social norms such as attendance obligation, maintaining the sharecropped system, social awareness, the wholeheartedness of the board, and social sanction are supporting the utilization of the capital of goat farming. Moreover, by creating a whole new network such as affinity group, group of women farmers, voluntary contibution, corn entrepreneur, goat-farming entrepreneurs, and banana merchant make economics access become easier in agriculture and animal husbandry, and also neighborhood association are finally able to empower citizen’s economy through a livestock fattening cooperation system as livestock profit sharing is the main purpose of the system.
