Abstract
Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) adalah kegiatan usaha milik individu atau badan usaha yang memenuhi beberapa kriteria sesuai Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2008 tentang usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah. Kecamatan Sukodono merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang memiliki potensi besar di sektor UMKM karena mempunyai posisi cukup strategis dalam hal lokasi dan dalam sektor perekonomian. Selain itu, Kecamatan Sukodono juga terdapat 4.322 UMKM yang memiliki berbagai sektor jenis usaha yang diusahakan. Meskipun begitu, masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang menjadi problema dalam perkembangan kinerja UMKM di Kecamatan Sukodono. Kondisi ketahanan komunitas pada UMKM Kecamatan Sukodono belum dapat dikatakan optimal. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dengan tidak adanya keberadaan pusat atau sentra UMKM sebagai sarana pengembangan dan pemasaran produk bersama bagi komunitas pelaku UMKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi modal ekonomi pelaku UMKM dan kinerja UMKM di Kecamatan Sukodono serta hubungan antara keduanya. Sampel penelitian ini adalah pelaku UMKM yang memiliki usaha yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Sukodono dengan metode pengambilan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner ke pelaku UMKM. Metode statistik menggunakan Analisis Korelasi, dengan teknik rank spearman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja UMKM secara signifikan positif memiliki hubungan dengan modal ekonomi pelaku UMKM. Selain itu terdapat beberapa poin-poin yang dapat ditingkatkan demi terwujudnya UMKM Kecamatan Sukodono yang berketahanan.
English Abstract
Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are business activities owned by individuals or business entities that meet several criteria by Law Number 20 of 2008 concerning Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Sukodono District is one of the districts that has great potential in the MSME sector because it has a strategic position that benefits the economic sector. Sukodono District also has 4.322 MSMEs, which have various types of business sectors. Nevertheless, there are still some problems in the development of MSME performance in Sukodono District. The condition of community resilience in Sukodono District MSMEs cannot be said to be optimal. This can be seen in the absence of an MSME center as a means of developing and marketing joint products for the MSME community. This research aims to determine the condition of the economic capital of MSME actors and the performance of MSMEs in Sukodono District and the relationship between the two. The sample of this research is MSME actors who have businesses located in Sukodono District with a purposive sampling method Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to MSME actors. Statistical method using correlation analysis, with Spearman rank technique. The results of this research indicate that the performance of MSMEs has a significantly positive relationship with the economic capital of MSME actors. In addition, several points can be improved for the realization of sustainable MSMEs in Sukodono District.
