Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi, menganalisa dan mengevaluasi potensi imunomodulator andrographolid ekstrak etanol daun sambiloto (ESL) (Andrographis paniculata. Nees) terhadap profil hematologi, sebagai antelmintika terhadap infestasi endoparasit gastrointestinal (GIN) dan produksi kambing Peranakan Etawah, dilaksanakan dari bulan Maret 2016 sampai Mei 2016. Metode penelitian tahap 1: Penelitian Laboratorium mulai ektraksi - pembuatan Kapsul ESL; tahap 2 penelitian eksperimental lapang. Materi penelitian tahap I. Serbuk daun sambiloto, tahap II menggunakan 25 ekor kambing PE. Rancangan penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 5 kelompok perlakuan dengan 5 ulangan. Kelompok KN= tanpa perlakuan; KP= diberi kaplet CurminVitPlus (500mg) sebagai pembanding ; P1= kapsul ESL (750mg); P2 = kapsul ESL (1125mg) dan P3 = kapsul ESL (1500mg) dan aklimatisasi selama 7 hari sebelum perlakuan. Pengambilan data melalui feses dan darah dari Vena jugularis, penimbangan berat badan dilakukan setiap 2 minggu sekali. Parameter yang diukur meliputi profil fisiologi hematologi yaitu jumlah eritrosit , hemoglobin, dan hematokrit, jumlah sel leukosit, sel eosinofil dan kadar Imunoglobulin E, jumlah telur cacing (TTGF), konsumsi BK, BO, PK, dan TDN pakan, dan pertambahan berat badan, konversi pakan kambing PE. Data dianalisis deskriftif dan menggunakan ANOVA satu arah jika berbeda nyata diuji lanjut dengan Uji BNT. Hasil penelitian tahap I memperoleh rendemen ESL sebesar 1680 g atau 33,6% dan kadar andrograpolid 1,13 ± 0,04 %. Hasil analisis tahap II menunjukkan pemberian kapsul ESL dosis 750mg,1125mg, dan 1500mg meningkatkan jumlah sel darah merah, kadar hemoglobin, prosentase hematokrit, sel leukosit, sel eosinofil, Imuniglobilin E, menurunkan jumlah telur cacing sebesar 96,8%, dan peningkatan konsumsi pakan dan PBB berbeda nyata (P < 0,05) dengan Kontrol Positif (KP) dan Kontrol Negatif (KN). Pemberian kapsul ESL dosis 1125 mg menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik dibanding dengan 750 mg dan 1500 mg. Kesimpulan : ekstrak etanol Daun Sambiloto (ESL) mempunyai potensi imunostimulan terhadap profil hematologi, potensi antelmintik terhadap infestasi endoparasit gastrointestinal (GIN) dan potensi imunostimulan terhadap produksi kambing Peranakan Etawah dengan dosis 1125mg.

English Abstract

This study aims to identify, analyze and evaluate the potential of andrographolide immunomodulator of ethanol extract of sambiloto leaves (ESL) (Andrographis paniculata. Nees) on hematological profiles, anthelmintic against infestation of gastrointestinal endoparasites (GIN) and productivity of Etawah Crossbred Goat ,carried out from March 2016 to May 2016. Stage 1 research methods: Laboratory Research from extraction - making ESL Capsules; Stage 2 field experimental research. Stage 1 research material. Sambiloto leaf powder, Stage 2 used 25 Etawah Crossbred Goats. The study design was a completely randomized design (CRD) of 5 treatment groups with 5 replications. NC group = no treatment; PC = given CurminVitPlus caplet (500mg) as a comparison; P1 = ESL capsule (750mg); P2 = ESL capsules (1125mg) and P3 = ESL capsules (1500mg) and acclimatization for 7 days before treatment. Retrieval of data through feces and blood from the jugular vein, weighting is done every 2 weeks. The parameters measured include the physiological profile of hematology, account of erythrocytes, hemoglobin, and hematocrit, the number of leucocyte cells, eosinophils and immunoglobulin E levels, the number of worm eggs (EPG), feed consumption, and weight gain of Etawah Crossbred Goat. Data were analyzed descriptively and using one-way ANOVA if significantly different were further tested by the LSD Test. The results of the first stage of the study obtained an ESL yield of 1680 g or 33.6% and andrograpolid levels of 1,13 ± 0,04%. The results of the Stage II analysis showed that giving 750mg, 1125mg and 1500mg ESL capsules could increase the number of red blood cells, hemoglobin levels, the percentage of hematocrit, leukocyte cells, eosinophil cells, immunoglobulin E, reduce the number of worm eggs by 96.8%, and increase consumption of feed and weight gain were significantly different (P <0.05) with Positive Control (PC) and Negative Control (NC). The administration of ESL capsules with a dose of 1125 mg showed better results compared to 750 mg and 1500 mg. Conclusion: Ethanol of extract Sambiloto Leaves (ESL) has potential as an immunostmulant for hematological profiles, as an anthelmintic against gastrointestinal endoparasitic infestation (GIN) and as an immunomodulator for productivity to Etawah Crossbred Goat at a dose of 1125mg.
