Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan mengevaluasi efek pemberian Tepung “RD” pada level yang berbeda terhadap performans sapi Peranakan Limosin jantan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen menggunakan RAK dengan 3 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan sebanyak 9 ekor sapi Peranakan Limosin jantan yang dipilih berdasarkan bobot badan (300-350kg) dengan rata-rata bobot awal 322±25,46 kg, berumur PI0 (<18 bulan) dan PI2 (18-24 bulan), yang dipelihara selama 8 minggu. Perlakuan pakan sebagai berikut : P0 = Ad libitum tebon jagung + konsentrat tanpa RD, P1 = Ad libitum tebon jagung + konsentrat mengandung 7,5 % RD, P2 = Ad libitum tebon jagung + konsentrat mengandung 12,5% RD. Variabel yang diukur meliputi Pertambahan Bobot Badan (PBB), Pertambahan Bobot Badan Harian (PBBH), Konsumsi Bahan Kering (KBK), Konsumsi Bahan Organik (KBO), Kecernaan Bahan Kering (KcBK), Kecernaan Bahan Organik (KcBO), Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR), Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC), glukosa darah dan urea darah. Data dianalisis dengan (ANKOVA) dengan faktor pengiring/kovariat berupa bobot awal (PBB, PBBH, KBK dan KB) dan konsumsi (KcBK, KcBO, FCR, IOFC, Glukosa darah dan Urea darah) apabila pada analisis peragam faktor pengiringnya tidak berpengaruh maka dilanjutkan analisis ANOVA dan apabila terdapat perbedaan signifikan antar perlakuan maka akan dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perlakuan berbeda sangat nyata (P<0.01) terhadap Pertambahan Bobot Badan (PBB), Pertambahan Bobot Badan Harian (PBBH), Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR), Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC) dan berbeda nyata (P<0.05) terhadap kecernaan bahan kering (KBK), kecernaan Bahan Organik (KBO), Glukosa darah dan tidak berbeda nyata terhadap konsumsi bahan kering (KBK), konsumsi bahan organik (KBO) dan urea darah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perlakuan P1 pakan (7,5% Tepung “RD”) menunjukan hasil terbaik terhadap PBB (70,67±5,43 kg), PBBH (1,26±0,09 kg), KBK (7,84±0,32 kgBK), KBO (6,85±0,27 kgBK), KcBK (74,49±1,65%), KcBO (70,28±2,14%), FCR (5,85±0,19), IOFC Rp. 36586.50 dan kandungan glukosa darah (55,33-67 mg/dL) dan urea darah((24,5-28,64 mg/dL) berada pada kisaran normal.
English Abstract
This study aimed to determined the performance of male Limosin Crossbreed cattle with different levels of feed with the addition of RD flour. The method used is an experimental method using CRD with 3 treatments and 3 replications of 9 male Limousin Crossbreed cattle selected based on body weight (300-350kg) with an average initial weight of 322±25.46 kg, PI0-PI2 (<18-18-24 month), maintained for 8 weeks. The feed treatments were applied as follows: P0 = Ad libitum corn straw + concentrate without RD, P1 = Ad libitum corn straw + concentrate containing 7.5% RD, P2 = Ad libitum corn straw + concentrate containing 12.5% RD. The variables measured included Daily gain, Average daily gain, BK consumption, BO consumption, BK digestibility, BO digestibility, FCR and IOFC. Data were analyzed by (ANKOVA) with accompanying factors/covariates in the form of initial weight (PBB, PBBH, KBK and KB) and consumption for (KcBK, KcBO, FCR, IOFC, blood glucose and blood urea). continued with ANOVA analysis and if there was a significant difference between treatments, it would be continued with Duncan's further test.. The result showed that using feed with the addition of “RD” flour at different levels had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on Daily gain, Average daily gain, FCR, IOFC and significantly different (P<0.05) on Dry matter digestibility, Organic matter digestibility, blood glucose and non significant on Dry matter consumption, Organic matter consumption, urea glucose. The conclusion of this study was that the treatment of P1 feed (7.5% “RD” flour) showed the best results for Daily gain (70,67±5,43 kg), Average daily gain (1.26±0.09 kg), KBK (7.84±0.32 kg/BK), KBO (6.85±0.27 kg/BK), KcBK (74.49±1.65%), KcBO (70.28±2.14%), FCR (5.85±0.19), IOFC Rp. 36.586,50 blood glucose (55.33-67mg/dL) and urea levels (24.5-28.64mg/dL) in the normal range.
