Abstract

Perusahaan dituntut untuk meningkatkan nilai perusahaan, karena nilai perusahaan merupakan faktor yang dipertimbangkan investor untuk menanamkan modalnya. Sehingga perusahaan harus menerapkan strategi-strategi yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan. Salah satu strategi yang dapat dilakukan perusahaan adalah melalui kebijakan keuangan. Kebijakan utama dalam manajemen keuangan perusahaan adalah keputusan investasi dan keputusan pendanaan, dimana kedua kebijakan ini berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya dapat mempengaruhi nilai pemegang saham. Strategi keputusan investasi dan keputusan pendanaan dapat meningkatkan nilai pemegang saham. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh keputusan investasi dan keputusan pendanaan terhadap nilai pemegang saham, dimana keputusan pendanaan sekaligus sebagai variabel mediasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Objek penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2016-2020. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 195 perusahaan dan sampel sebanyak 44 perusahaan dengan 220 unit observasi. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan bantuan aplikasi SmartPLS 3. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel keputusan investasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai pemegang saham. Keputusan investasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pendanaan. Sedangkan keputusan pendanaan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap nilai pemegang saham. Selain itu, keputusan investasi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap nilai pemegang saham apabila dimediasi oleh keputusan pendanaan

English Abstract

Companies are required to increase the value of the company, because the value of the company is a factor considered by investors to invest their capital. So the company must implement strategies that can improve company performance. One of the strategies that the company can do is through financial policies. The company's main policies in financial management are investment decisions and funding decisions, where these two policies based on previous research can affect shareholder value. Financial decision strategies, namely investment decisions and funding decisions can increase shareholder value. This study aims to analyze the effect of investment decisions and funding decisions on shareholder value, where funding decisions are also a mediating variable. The type of research used in this research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The object of this research is the manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2020. The population of this research is 195 companies and the sample is 44 companies with 220 units of observation. The analysis used in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of the SmartPLS 3 application. The results of this study indicate that the investment decision has a positive and significant effect on shareholder value. Investment decisions have a positive and significant effect on funding decisions. While funding decisions have a negative and significant effect on shareholder value. In addition, investment decisions have a negative and significant effect on shareholder value if mediated by funding decisions
