Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan memprediksi faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi minat pengguna menggunakan aplikasi investasi. Faktorfaktor tersebut didefinisikan dengan Teori Difusi Inovasi yakni voluntariness of use, ease of use, relative advantage, visibility, compatibility, trialability, image, dan result demonstrability. Penelitian dilakukan pada 41 orang responden dengan metode analisis data Partial Least Square menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS 2.0 M3. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah faktor voluntariness of use menurunkan minat menggunakan aplikasi investasi. Sebaliknya, relative advantage, compatibility, dan trialability meningkatkan minat menggunakan aplikasi. Faktor ease of use, visibility, image, dan result demonstrability tidak mempengaruhi minat menggunakan aplikasi. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pihak pengembang aplikasi investasi dapat memperhatikan faktor voluntariness of use, relative advantage, compatibility, dan result demonstrability sehingga aplikasi yang dikembangkan dapat lebih menarik minat investor untuk menggunakan aplikasi tersebut.

English Abstract

This study aims to determine and predict the factors affecting the intention to use investment applications, in which the factors are defined by the Diffusion Theory of Innovation, incorporating voluntariness of use, ease of use, relative advantage, visibility, compatibility, trialability, image, and result demonstrability. The samples of 41 respondents are analyzed by Partial Least Square utilizing SmartPLS 2.0 M3 software. The results reveal that voluntariness of use reduces the intention to use investment applications. On the other hand, relative advantage, compatibility, and trialability increase the intention to use investment applications. Ease of use, visibility, image, and result demonstrability do not affect the intention to use investment applications. This study implies that the investment application developers should consider voluntariness of use, relative advantage, compatibility, and result demonstrability to attract more investors to use the investment applications.
