Abstract

Setiap daerah yang ada di Indonesia memiliki banyak kekayaan budaya yang sangat beraneka ragam. Salah satu kekayaan budaya bangsa adalah budaya spiritual yang berasal dari kepercayaan terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Salah satunya yang ada di daerah Kabupaten Purworejo yang terdapat sebuah tradisi yaitu Tradisi Sedekah Laut di Pantai Kertojayan ini. Tradisi Sedekah Laut adalah salah satu tradisi yang sudah turun temurun hingga sekarang yang menjadi bagian dari tradisi budaya lokal suatu masyarakat setempat yang ada diwilayah tersebut dengan menghadirkan berbagai macam bentuk ragam kearifan lokalnya yang dilaksanakan setiap setahun sekali yaitu pada bulan Syuro sebagai ungkapan rasa syukur kepada Allah SWT atas hasil tangkapan ikan yang berlimpah. Tujuan melakukan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan tentang sejarah Tradisi Sedekah Laut di Pantai Kertojayan. Mendeskripsikan prosesi pelaksanaan Tradisi Sedekah Laut sebelum adanya pandemi Covid-19 dan dimasa pandemi Covid-19 di Pantai Kertojayan. Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis persepsi masyarakat pesisir tentang kepercayaan terhadap dampak perubahan mekanisme Tradisi Sedekah Laut di Pantai Kertojayan pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis dampak mekanisme Tradisi Sedekah Laut dari wabah pandemi Covid-19 pada kepercayaan masyarakat pesisir di Pantai Kertojayan. Tradisi merupakan tradisi adalah kepercayaan yang sudah diwariskan secara turun temurun dan diterima oleh suatu masyarakat yang di dalamnya ada berbagai ritual. Namun, dengan adanya pandemi Covid-19 membawa dampak yang cukup serius pada tatanan kesehatan, perekonomian dan sodial budaya. Seperti halnya Tradisi Sedekah Laut di Pantai Kertojayan yang akhirnya menimbulkan persepsi masyarakat dan dampak yang ditimbulkan seperti halnya mempengaruhi adanya perbedaan mekanisme Tradisi sedekah Laut sehingga mengharuskan adanya pergantian mekanisme menjadi sangat sederhana dan menjalankan kebijakan pemerintah. Penelitian tentang dampak mekanisme Tradisi Sedekah Laut masa pandemi covid-19 pada kepercayaan masyarakat pesisir Pantai Kertojayan Desa Kertojayan Kecamatan Grabag Kabupaten Purworejo ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Sasaran wawancara dengan narasumber dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala desa, ketua kelompok nelayan, sesepuh desa, nelayan dan tokoh agama. Teknik pengambilan narasumber yang digunakan adalah purposive sample dan teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.. Adapun metode analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif untuk menganalisis hasil wawancara dan pengamatan yang sudah terkumpul dengan dengan model interaksi Miles Dan Huberman. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah Tradisi Sedekah Laut dilakukan berawal Pemerintah Kabupaten Purworejo melalui Dinas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan pada tahun 2003 Desa Kertojayan mendapat bantuan berupa uang untuk dibelikan kapal dan peralatan melaut. Terjadi perubahan sosial budaya masyarakat dari faktor eksternal berupa pengaruh kebudayaan masyarakat lain (kebudayaan masyarakat dari Cilacap) pada tahun 2010. Tahun 2011 Tradisi Sedekah Laut pertama kali dilaksanakan di Pantai Kertojayan. Masyarakat pesisir Pantai Kertojayan terus melestarikan dan melaksanakan Tradisi sedekah Laut sampai sekarang yang dilaksanakan setahun sekali yaitu pada bulan Syuro. Tujuan dan manfaat yang didapatkan dari pelaksanakan Tradisi Sedekah Laut sebagai perwujudan rasa syukur kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa atas keberkahan dan keselamatan nelayan di Pantai Kertojayan yang telah diberikan rezeki yang melimpah berupa hasil tangkapan dan dilindungi selama melaut mencari ikan. Pelaksanaan Tradisi Sedekah Laut sebelum pandemi Covid-19 ini diawali dengan persiapan pada H-10 hari sebelum masuk bulan Syuro. Pada prosesi Tradisi Sedekah Laut dilakukan Rangkaian awal (pra Larung Sesaji). Selanjutnya rangkaian inti (acara larungan sesaji ke tengah laut) dan diakhiri dengan acara hiburan. Pada Tradisi sedekah Laut di Pantai Kertojayan terjadi perubahan sosial budaya di masa pandemi Covid-19 merupakan yang bersumber dari luar (eksternal) masyarakat di Pantai Kertojayan dari lingkungan alam fisik yang disebabkan adanya pandemi Corona Virus Disease 2019. Dimana pelaksanaan Tradisi sedekah Laut dilakukan dengan mekanisme yang berbeda yaitu hanya doa bersama dan acara selametan. Selain itu, dimasa pandemi Covid-19 Tradisi Sedekah Laut di Pantai Kertojayan juga mengalami perubahan bentuk sosial budaya yaitu perubahan cepat (Revolusi). Persepsi masyarakat baik nelayan, tokoh agama, sesepuh desa, kepala desa, dan ketua kelompok nelayan tentang dampak mekanisme terhadap kepercayaan pada Tradisi Sedekah Laut pada masa pandemi Covid-19 ini yang terdiri beberapa aspek nilai-nilai kepercayaaan seperti aspek ideologis, aspek rituals, aspek pengalaman, aspek intelektual dan aspek konsekuensi atau akibat beranggapan walaupun dengan pelaksanaan mekanisme yang berbeda pada Tradisi Sedekah Laut, masyarakat tetap menjunjung nilai kepercayaan yang ada dan sudah melekat pada diri masing-masing serta tetap menunjung nilai kesakralan tradisi tersebut. Selain itu juga tidak memunculkan kontra di masyarakat pesisir Pantai Kertojayan justru tidak mengurangi motivasi untuk tetap melestarikan guna bisa dikenal generasi selanjutnya. Selanjutnya dampak mekanisme yang ditimbulkan adanya pandemi Covid-19 terhadap kepercayaan pada pelaksanaan Tradisi Sedekah Laut di Pantai Kertojayan secara garis besar menerima adanya perbedaan mekanisme tersebut baik nelayan, kepala desa, ketua nelayan, sesepuh desa dan tokoh agama serta selalu menjaga dan melestarikan kebudayaan yang ada bisa membuat semakin tinggi rasa toleransi untuk Tradisi Sedekah Laut ini. Peneliti mengajukan beberapa saran yang ditujukan kepada pemerintah, lembaga akademisi dan masyarakat. Dimana saran kepada pemerintah yaitu adanya pengawasan dalam proses belajar budaya tradisi khususnya Tradisi Sedekah Laut dan mengembangkan informasi melalui media sosial agar tradisi tersebut dapat diketahui masyarakat luas. Bagi lembaga akademis dapat dijadikan sebagai saran informasi dan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan tentang kearifan lokal atau budaya masyarakat. Akademisi diharapkan bisa melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai pelaksanaan sebelum masa pandemi dan dimasa pandemi Covid-19. Bagi masyarakat diberikan peneliti untuk masyarakat harus bisa bekerja sama dengan pemerintah daerah dalam upaya melestarikan budaya daerah tidak hanya dengan mengingat dan melihat, alangkah baiknya turut serta dalam pelaksanaan perayaannya demi menjaga dan melestarikan budaya yang ada

English Abstract

Every region in Indonesia has a lot of very diverse cultural wealth. One of the nation's cultural wealth is spiritual culture that comes from belief in God Almighty. One of them is in the Purworejo Regency area where there is a tradition, namely the Sea Alms Tradition on Kertojayan Beach. The Sedekah Laut tradition is one of the traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation until now which is part of the local cultural tradition of a local community in the region by presenting various forms of local wisdom which are carried out once a year, namely in the month of Syuro as an expression of gratitude to Allah. Allah SWT for the abundant fish catch. The purpose of this research is to describe the history of the Sea Alms Tradition on Kertojayan Beach. Describes the procession of the implementation of the Sea Alms Tradition before the Covid-19 pandemic and during the Covid-19 pandemic at Kertojayan Beach. Describe and analyze the perception of coastal communities about trust in the impact of changes in the mechanism of the Sea Alms Tradition on Kertojayan Beach during the Covid-19 pandemic. Describe and analyze the impact of the Sea Alms Tradition mechanism from the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak on the trust of coastal communities in Kertojayan Beach. Tradition is a tradition that is a belief that has been passed down from generation to generation and accepted by a society in which there are various rituals. However, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a fairly serious impact on the health, economy and social culture. Like the Sea Alms Tradition on Kertojayan Beach, which ultimately raises public perceptions and the impacts it causes, such as influencing the differences in the mechanism for the Sea Alms Tradition so that it requires a change of mechanism to be very simple and carry out government policies. This research on the impact of the Sea Alms Tradition mechanism during the COVID-19 pandemic on the trust of the coastal community of Kertojayan Beach, Kertojayan Village, Grabag District, Purworejo Regency, is a qualitative research with the data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The targets of interviews with resource persons in this study were village heads, heads of fishing groups, village elders, fishermen and religious leaders. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and the data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis method in this study was descriptive qualitative analysis to analyze the results of interviews and observations that had been collected with the Miles and Huberman interaction model. The result of this research is that the Sea Alms Tradition was initiated by the Purworejo Regency Government through the Department of Fisheries and Marine Sciences in 2003, Kertojayan Village received assistance in the form of money to buy ships and fishing equipment. There was a socio-cultural change in the community from external factors in the form of cultural influences from other communities (the culture of the people from Cilacap) in 2010. In 2011 the Sea Alms Tradition was first held on Kertojayan Beach. The coastal community of Kertojayan Beach continues to preserve and carry out the Sea alms tradition until now which is carried out once a year, namely in the month of Syuro. The goals and benefits obtained from implementing the Sea Alms Tradition as an embodiment of gratitude to God Almighty for the blessings and safety of fishermen on Kertojayan Beach who have been given abundant sustenance in the form of catches and protected while fishing. The implementation of the Sea Alms Tradition before the Covid-19 pandemic began with preparations on D-10 days before entering the Syuro month. In the procession of the Sea Alms Tradition, the initial series (pre Larung Offerings) is carried out. Then the main series (Larungan offerings to the middle of the sea) and ended with an entertainment program. In the Sea Alms Tradition on Kertojayan Beach, there was a socio-cultural change during the Covid-19 pandemic, which was sourced from outside (externally) the community on Kertojayan Beach from the physical natural environment caused by the Corona Virus Disease 2019 pandemic. the difference is only a prayer together and a salvation event. In addition, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Sea Alms Tradition on Kertojayan Beach also experienced changes in socio-cultural forms, namely rapid changes (Revolution). Community perceptions of fishermen, religious leaders, village elders, village heads, and heads of fishing groups about the impact of the mechanism on belief in the Sea Alms Tradition during the Covid-19 pandemic which consists of several aspects of belief values such as ideological aspects, ritual aspects, aspects of experience, intellectual aspects and aspects of consequences or consequences assume that even with the implementation of different mechanisms in the Alms of the Sea Tradition, the community still upholds the values of existing beliefs that have been attached to each other and still upholds the sacred value of the tradition. In addition, it also does not raise cons in the coastal community of Kertojayan Beach, it does not reduce the motivation to continue to preserve so that it can be known by the next generation. Furthermore, the impact of the mechanism caused by the Covid-19 pandemic on belief in the implementation of the Sea Alms Tradition on Kertojayan Beach broadly accepts the differences in the mechanism, both fishermen, village heads, fishermen chiefs, village elders and religious leaders and always maintain and preserve the existing culture. can create a higher sense of tolerance for this Sea Alms Tradition. Researchers put forward several suggestions addressed to the government, academic institutions and the community. Where suggestions to the government are supervision in the process of learning traditional culture, especially the Sea Alms Tradition and developing information through social media so that the tradition can be known to the wider community. For academic institutions, it can be used as information advice and the development of knowledge about local wisdom or community culture. Academics are expected to be able to conduct further research on implementation before the pandemic and during the Covid-19 pandemic. For the community, researchers are given for the community to be able to work together with local governments in an effort to preserve regional culture not only by remembering and seeing, it would be nice to participate in the implementation of the celebration in order to maintain and preserve the existing culture.
