Abstract
Pueraria phaseoloides adalah legum yang sering diberikan pada ternak karena dapat ditanam ditanah kering serta termasuk leguminosa berumur panjang, tumbuh membelit, dan menjalar. Tanaman ini tergolong mudah pada saat penanaman karena dapat tumbuh tanpa menggunakan terlalu banyak sinar matahari dan air. Kemampuan tanaman dalam berfotosintesis khususnya leguminosa dapat dilakukan dengan cara diukur melalui luas daun yang sesuai degan morfologinya. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan model pendugaan luas daun tanaman Pueraria phaseoloides. Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah sejumlah 50 tangkai daun tanaman Pueraria phaseoloides dengan bentuk normal (tidak cacat), yang diambil dari populasi species tanaman Pueraria phaseoloides di lahan percobaan. English Abstract
The purpose of this study was to obtain a model for estimating the leaf area of the Pueraria phaseoloides. The research method used an experimental method with a single plot design, which is a plant species Pueraria phaseoloides that grows in areas of land that are free of shade or receive direct sunlight. A total of ±500 seeds of Pueraria phaseoloides were planted in the experimental field on a plot measuring 5 x 4 m. Planting is done individually by placing the seeds in the planting holes as much as 3-5 seeds per hole with a depth of 2-3 cm and a spacing of 20 x 50 cm. The results showed that the leaf area estimation model using the regression equation method based on the multiplication of leaf length and width was the best accuracy, namely (y) = 2.34 + 1.03 (x) compared to the parameters of leaf circumference and leaf
