Abstract

penelitian ini membuktikan jalur yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keputusan berkunjung adalah dengan meningkatkan minat berkunjung dari wisatawan. Saran yang dapat dilakukan oleh peneliti selanjutnya dalam penelitian keputusan berkunjung yaitu mengembangkan model yang sudah ada sehingga mendapatkan hasil yang lebih luas dan akurat. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini juga dapat dijadikan sebagai saran untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan minat berkunjung dengan meningkatkan penggunaan electronic word of mouth dapat berupa pengadaan virtual tourism serta meminimalisir resiko yang dapat dirasakan sehingga menciptakan rasa aman selama berkunjung ke Ekowisata mangrove Pantai Indah Kapuk

English Abstract

Traveling is a part of community needs, as their interest in travel increases, tourism is developing with the emergence of awareness to add educational value in tourism by ecotourism. Ecotourism integrates the activities of tourism, conservation and local community empowerment. Nowadays, tourism has entered the digital tourism era. Tourists are able to look for information, book tickets and do payments online. Information search can be done by the means of social medias such as blogs, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. People share their experience on social medias, as there is a phenomenon of uploading their private lives online, both about their daily activities or when they travel. As of now, the world is facing the Covid-19 pandemic and this situation greatly affects the tourism sector. The perception of the risk of getting the illness when traveling has become one of the factors of the decreasing rate of tourists' visits. The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the influence of 1) electronic word of mouth on the decision to visit 2) perceived risk on the decision to visit 3) the role of interest to visit mediating the relationship between electronic word of mouth on the decision to visit 4) the role of interest to visit mediating the relationship between perceived risk on the decision to visit 5) the interest to visit on the decision to visit. In this research, quantitative approach was used as the research method with the use of survey by questionnaire as the data collecting method, done in descriptive-quantitative approach. The sample used in this research came from 140 people who visited Pantai Indah Kapuk Mangrove Ecotourism at least once within the past year from June 2020 until June 2021, with the respondents' criteria of being at least 17 years old, having an Instagram account, and following Pantai Indah Kapuk Mangrove Ecotourism's account on Instagram. The program used for data analysis was WarpPLS SEM Method and descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that electronic word of mouth (X1) has a significant effect on the decision to visit (Y1) with the beta coefficient value of 0.215 and significance value =0.004; perceived risk (X2) has a significant effect on the decision to visit (Y1) with beta coefficient value of -0.174 and significance value =0.016; electronic word of mouth (X1) has a significant effect on the decision to visit (Y1) with the mediating of interest to visit (X3) with beta coefficient value of 0.386 and significance value < 0.001; perceived risk has no significant effect on the decision to visit (Y1) with the mediating of interest to visit (X3) with beta coefficient value of 0.058 and significance value =0.161; the interest to visit (X3) has a significant effect on the decision to visit (Y1) with beta coefficient value of 0.606 and significance value < 0.001. From the results above, the decision to visit can be a benchmark on tourism continuity. The results proved an effective path on increasing the decision to visit, by increasing the tourists' interest to visit. The suggestion for the next research is to develop the existing model to get a wider and accurate results. Furthermore, the results from this research can be used as a suggestion to increase and develop the interest to visit by increasing the use of electronic word of mouth by the means of virtual tourism and to minimize the risk that can be felt so that the sense of security can be created during the visit to Pantai Indah Kapuk Mangrove Ecotourism
