Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara dengan kekayaan warisan leluhur yang amat beragam. Setiap wilayah memiliki nilai local wisdom yang kental tercorak dalam arsitekturalnya dengan keyakinan, adat, dan budaya sebagai identitas yang unik. Namun seiring berjalannya waktu semua eksistensi warisan tersebut termasuk arsitektur vernakular perlahan menghilang. Padahal arsitektural warisan leluhur merupakan hasil dari keseluruhan proses adaptasi problematika iklim setempat. Dengan iklim tropis pegunungan, arsitektur vernakular pada hunian di Desa Adat Ciptagelar menjadi salah satu contoh inspirasi bangunan tanggap iklim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari bagaimana strategi bioklimatik yang diterapkan sekaligus bagaimana kinerja lingkungan termal alami terhadap hunian pada hunian Desa Adat Ciptagelar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif kuantitatif dimana data akan dijelaskan secara deskriptif yang kemudian akan dievaluasi dan dikomparatifkan antar sintesis penelitiannya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan ketebalan susunan antar material alami sekaligus memanfaatkan hawu atau tungku api sebagai upaya penghangatan termal sekaligus upaya mereduksi kelembapan pada pawon atau dapur tradisional. Sebagai area vital dalam dalam interaksi masyarakatnya. Meskipun berdasar hasil pengukuran hawu pada pawon masih belum maksimal mampu mereduksi kelembapan pada dalam rumah, hal ini bisa berkaitan dengan kurangnya bukaan pada masing-masing hunian meskipun hunian berkonsep hunian bernafas. selain itu, berdasar hasil analisa data didapati bahwa suhu ruang dalam bangunan lebih sejuk pada siang hari dibandingkan ruang luar, begitu pula saat malam hari dengan suhu ruang dalam lebih hangat dibandingkan ruang luar. Didapati pula perbedaan kemampuan konduktansi dengan rumah Aki Artha memiliki konduktansi lebih baik dibandingkan dua objek lainnya. Kinerja termal alami dipengaruhi dari ketebalan selubung bangunan, orientasi dan proporsional bangunan, hingga bukaan pada bangunan.

English Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a very diverse ancestral heritage. Each region has local wisdom values that are thickly patterned in its architecture with beliefs, customs, and culture as a unique identity. But over time all the existence of these heritages including vernacular architecture slowly disappeared. Whereas architectural heritage is the result of the whole process of adaptation to local climate problems. With a mountainous tropical climate, the vernacular architecture of housing in the Ciptagelar Traditional Village is an example of inspiration for climate-responsive buildings. This study aims to find out how the bioclimatic strategy is applied as well as how the performance of the natural thermal environment on the housing in the Ciptagelar Traditional Village dwelling. This study uses a quantitative qualitative method where the data will be described descriptively which will then be evaluated and compared between the research syntheses. The results of this study indicate that the utilization of the thickness of the arrangement between natural materials and the use of hawu or fire stoves as an effort to warm up and reduce humidity in the pawon or traditional kitchen. As a vital area in the interaction of the community. Although based on the results of measurements of hawu on Pawon, it is still not maximally able to reduce humidity in the house, this could be related to the lack of openings in each dwelling even though the dwelling has a breathing concept. In addition, based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the indoor temperature of the building is cooler during the day than the outside, as well as at night with the temperature of the inside room being warmer than the outside. It was also found that the difference in conductance ability with Aki Artha's house had better conductance than the other two objects. Therefore, natural thermal performance is influenced by the thickness of the building envelope, the orientation also proportion of the building, and the openings in the building.
