Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises and Cooperatives Indonesia (SMESCO) merupakan tempat bagi para pemilik Usaha Kecil dan Menengah untuk mempromosikan produk-produk unggulan Indonesia kepada dunia internasional. Melalui SMESCO para pemilik UKM dapat bekerjasama dalam hal standarisasi produk UKM, standarisasi mutu UKM dan sekaligus wadah pembinaan para pelaku UKM untuk memasarkan produknya. Program pengembangan sumber daya manusia, seminar, pelatihan, workshop serta pengenalan produk melalui online shop dan program pendampingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan dan menganalisis pengaruh: strategi inovasi dan orientasi pasar terhadap kinerja perusahaan UKM di SMESCO Indonesia secara langsung maupun melalui keunggulan bersaing; strategi inovasi dan orientasi pasar terhadap keunggulan bersaing; keunggulan bersaing terhadap kinerja perusahaan UKM di SMESCO Indonesia. Populasi penelitian adalah semua perusahaan UKM yang bermitra dengan SMESCO Indonesia. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan probability sampling dengan metode simple random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling-Parsial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), jumlah sampel 147 pemilik usaha kecil dan menengah di SMESCO Indonesia. Hasil penelitian membuktikan: (1) Strategi inovasi tidak secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap meningkatnya kinerja perusahaan UKM di SMESCO Indonesia namun berpengaruh signifikan melalui keunggulan bersaing; (2) Orientasi pasar tidak secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap meningkatnya kinerja perusahaan UKM di SMESCO Indonesia namun berpengaruh signifikan melalui keunggulan bersaing; (3) Strategi inovasi dan orientasi pasar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap meningkatnya keunggulan bersaing; (4) Keunggulan bersaing berpengaruh signifikan terhadap meningkatnya kinerja perusahaan UKM di SMESCO Indonesia.

English Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises and Indonesian Cooperatives (SMESCO) are places for owners of Small and Medium Enterprises to promote Indonesia's superior products to the international community. Through SMESCO, SME owners can collaborate in terms of standardizing SME products, standardizing SME quality and at the same time providing guidance for SMEs to market their products. Human resource development programs, seminars, training, workshops and product introductions through online shops and mentoring programs. This study aims to prove and analyze the influence of: innovation strategies and market orientation on the performance of SME companies in SMESCO Indonesia directly or through competitive advantage; innovation strategy and market orientation towards competitive advantage; competitive advantage to the performance of SME companies at SMESCO Indonesia. The research population is all SME companies that partner with SMESCO Indonesia. Sampling is done by probability sampling with a simple random sampling method. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), a sample of 147 small and medium business owners at SMESCO Indonesia The results of the study prove: (1) The innovation strategy does not directly have a significant effect on the increasing performance of SME companies in SMESCO Indonesia but has a significant effect through competitive advantage; (2) Market orientation does not directly have a significant effect on increasing the performance of SME companies in SMESCO Indonesia but has a significant effect through competitive advantage; (3) Innovation and market orientation strategies have a significant effect on increasing competitive advantage; (4) Competitive advantage has a significant effect on the increasing performance of SME companies in SMESCO Indonesia.
