Abstract

Penulis mengangkat memori yang dianggap penting untuk dipertahankan sebagai infomasi dari pengalaman masa lalu sekaligus memberikan kontrol proses kreatif eksistensi Grafis Universitas Brawijaya. Penggunaan memorabilia masa lalu terhadap perilaku saat ini berkaitan dengan pengolahan berpikir di masa yang akan datang, termasuk dalam mengolah garis. Garis sebagai bentuk konkrit identitas untuk memahami pribadi personal lewat berbagai representasi eksistensi pelaku seni. Salah satu unsur objek visual tersebut didapatkan penulis setelah melihat tragedi waktu yang melahirkan memori yang tercipta secara alami akibat eksistensi berkesenian. Dalam tugas akhir kali ini menggunakan olah penanda khas penulis dalam menghadirkan kembali dan menyajikan memori waktu tempo lalu. Pemilihan seni grafis sebagai alat dokumentasi sampai tahap artistik berwujud karya diharapkan menjadi pendukung rekam jejak proses kraetif dalam studi jurusan grafis Universitas Brawijaya.. Metode penciptaan yang digunakan penulis adalah milik Martwan yaitu eksplorasi, kontemplasi dan pembentukan. Penulis sebagai pelaku dan melihatnya secara langsung, sehingga dapat menjadi sumber penting yang menunjukan kejadian apa saja yang terjadi di lingkungan secara akurat. Objek gambar yaitu bersifat reflektif yang berasal dari proses renungan peristiwa yang ditemukan pada waktu kejadian, hal ini dilakukan secara langsung tanpa merekayasa objek dalam penciptaan. Hasil penciptaan karya penulis menghadirkan enam karya, diantaranya berjudul “Born”, “Ceaseless”, “Rekam jejak”, “Hablumminallah Hablumminannas”, “Takdir”, “Enjoy”. Sebagai pendukung visualisasi dokumentasi artistik berupa hasil olah beberapa teknik grafis seperti, teknik handcolouring, colet, dan sablon crayon. Karya penulis dirangkai sedemikian rupa sehingga dapat terwujud karya dengan olah motif menggunakan beberapa elemen warna. Dengan menggunakan bentuk dua dimensi dan penggunaan olah sensivitas irama warna dan garis sehingga tercapai visual yang dapat mewakili konsep yang ingin disampaikan dapat dideskripsikan dengan jelas serta dapat disatukan secara optimal.

English Abstract

Writer raised memory considered important to retained as information on of a past experience action while giving the control of processes creative graphic brawijaya university existence.The use of memorabilia when the ago of behavior was attended by processing think in the future, included in the process. Lines as a concrete form of identity to understand personal personalities through various representations of the existence of artists. One of the elements of the visual object was obtained by the author after seeing the tragedy of time which gave birth to a memory that was created naturally due to the existence of art. In this final project, using the author's signature marker in presenting and presenting memories of the past. The selection of graphic arts as a documentation tool to the artistic stage in the form of works is expected to support the track record of the creative process in the study of the graphic department of Brawijaya University. Method of creation used by the author is Martwan's, namely exploration, contemplation and formation. The author is an actor and sees it firsthand, so it can be an important source that shows what events are happening in the environment accurately. The object of the image is reflective that comes from the process of contemplating the events found at the time of the incident, this is done directly without engineering the object in creation. The results of the author's creation present six works, including those entitled "Born", "Ceaseless", "Track Record", "Hablumminallah Hablumminannas", "Destiny", "Enjoy". As a support for the visualization of artistic documentation in the form of the results of several graphic techniques such as handcolouring, dabbing, and crayon screen printing techniques. The author's work is arranged in such a way that a work can be realized with motifs using several color elements. By using two-dimensional shapes and the use of color and line rhythm sensitivity, so that a visual that can represent the concept to be conveyed can be clearly described and can be put together optimally.
