Abstract
Perekonomian Indonesia telah memasuki era gig economy yang telah memunculkan jenis pekerjaan baru yaitu gig worker. Salah satu contoh profesi dari gig worker adalah driver tranportasi online. Profesi ini terus berkembang pesat sejalan dengan permintaan masyarakat yang semakin meningkat. Hal ini tentu saja merupakan potensi besar bagi negara untuk memperoleh penerimaan pajak dari sektor baru. Saat ini driver tranportasi online memenuhi kewajiban perpajakan melalui self assessment system. Hal ini dikarenakan belum ada kebijakan spesifik untuk pengenaan pajak mereka. Penerapan self assessment system menekankan pada kepatuhan sukarela (voluntary compliance). Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang berpengaruh pada voluntary compliance. Faktor yang diukur meliputi faktor ekonomi, kelembagaan, sosial dan individu sebagai variabel independen serta faktor demografi sebagai variabel kontrol. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan explanatory research. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara offline dan online kepada driver tranportasi online. Metode pengambilan sampel adalah non-probability sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 175 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Adapun, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan faktor ekonomi dan sosial berpengaruh terhadap voluntary compliance. Sedangkan, faktor kelembagaan, individu dan faktor demografi tidak berpengaruh terhadap voluntary compliance. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, semakin tinggi skor faktor ekonomi dan faktor sosial, maka semakin tinggi pula voluntary compliance.
English Abstract
The economic system in Indonesia has entered the era of the gig economy which has create new types of work i.e gig worker. One example of gig worker is an online transportation driver. This jobs continues to expand rapidly in line with the increas public demands. Of course, this is a great potential for the state to obtain tax revenue from the new sector. Currently, online transportation driver fulfill tax obligations through a self- assessment sytem. It is caused there is no specific policy of their taxes. Implementation of self-assessment system an emphasis on voluntary compliance. Therefore, the purpose of this study is knowledge determinant of voluntary compliance. The measured factors include economic, institutional, social and individual factors as an independent variable and demographic factors as control variables. This type of research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The data used in this study is primary data through the questionnaires distributed by offline and online. The sampling method is non-probability sampling. Sample in this study was 175 respondents with purposive sampling method. Meanwhile, technical analysis of data is this study using descriptive statistical analysis with multiple linear regression tests. The result of this research showed that economic factor and social factor affect voluntary compliance. While institutional factor, individual factor and demographic factor do not affect volunatry compiance. Based on these result, the higher the score of economic factors and social factors, then the higher voluntary compliance.
