Abstract

Ketertarikan penulis untuk mengangkat alih wahana dongeng kancil sebagai topik dari tugas akhir ini berawal dari kemunculan memori-memori masa kecil penulis dengan dongeng kancil dan ibu. Selain itu ketertarikan pada dunia anak-anak membawa penulis melihat fenomena munculnya serial-serial animasi di televisi dan juga kanal Youtube yang menceritakan tentang dongeng kancil, juga temuan penulis pada hadirnya buku dongeng kancil nusantara yang bersumber dari cerita pewayangan dan serat atau buku induk teks-teks dongeng kancil. Internalisasi menjadi hal yang ingin dituju penulis. Sebuah penanaman dan penguatan nilai ke dalam diri. Landasan teori yang digunakan dalam penciptaan karya menggunakan metode penciptaan karya seni oleh L.H. Chapman yaitu (1) Inception of idea, (2) Elaboration and refinement, (3) Heention in a medium, dan pemanfaatan beberapa teori diantaranya teori mengenai alih wahana, metafora, dan internalisasi. Berbagai media digunakan sebagai sumber inspirasi dalam pembuatan karya seperti buku, film animasi anak, dan karya seni. Adapun hasil penciptaan yang dihasilkan dalam tugas akhir ini berjumlah tujuh karya seni hasil alih wahana dalam berbagai media seperti lukis, batik dan patung. Perwujudan visual karya penulis secara konseptual dimetaforakan pada visualisasi objek kancil yang menyesuaikan pada konteks cerita yang dibangun. Karya-karya yang dihasilkan adalah serangkaian proses yang dilalui penulis untuk mencapai internalisasi diri. Bagaimana perjalanan diri dan kesadarannya hingga bertemu dengan memori masa lalu, dan kembali pada hari ini dengan membawa nilai. Melalui karya-karya ini penulis berharap agar karya penulis dapat memberi kesan, memberi pengalaman batin pada setiap audience yang menikmatinya.

English Abstract

The author's interest in raising transformation the fairy tale of the mouse deer as the topic of this final project originated from the emergence of the author's childhood memories with the fairy tale of the mouse deer and her mother. In addition, interest in the world of children led the author to discover the phenomenon of the emergence of animated series on television and also a Youtube channel that tells about the fairy tale of the mouse deer, as well as the author's findings on the presence of the archipelago's mouse deer fairy tale books sourced from wayang stories and Serat (the main book of the mouse deer fables). Internalization as the autohor’s orientation. The implanation and strengthening of value to our self. The basic theory in the creation of artworks uses the method of creating works of art by L.H. Chapman that is (1) Inception of idea, (2) Elaboration and refinement, (3) Heention in a medium, and several theories including the theory of adaptation, analytic psychology by Jung, and metaphor. Various media are used as a source of inspiration in making works such as books, animated children's films, and other media related to the topics raised. The results of the creation produced in this final project amounted to seven artworks of tranformation into various media such as painting, batik, and statue. The visual embodiment of the author's work is metaphorically on the visualization of the mouse deer object which is deconstructed to fit the context of the story being built. The artworks produced are a series of processes that the author goes through to achieve a process of internalization. How is the journey of self and consciousness to meet the memory of the past, and return to the present day with value. Through these artworks the author hopes that the author's work can give an impression, give an inner experience to every audience who enjoys it
