Abstract

Penetapan Kota Makassar sebagai inti Kawasan Strategis Nasional Mamminasata (Perpres No. 55 Tahun 2011), mendorong peningkatan kebutuhan lahan untuk pembangunan yang berimplikasi pada alih fungsi lahan vegetasi. Ketersediaan vegetasi merupakan satu faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai Temperature Humidity Index (THI) pada suatu wilayah. THI merupakan indeks untuk mengukur tingkat kenyamanan termal populasi manusia di suatu wilayah, dengan selang batas kenyamanan yaitu 21-26 oC (Emmanuel, 2005). Semakin rendah kerapatan vegetasi maka semakin tinggi nilai THI (Suharyadi, 2019). Penelitian ini membahas mengenai perbandingan sebaran THI di Kota Makassar tahun 2009 dan 2019 serta keterkaitannya dengan perubahan penutup lahan dalam kurun waktu tersebut. Selain itu, tujuan yang ingin dicapai yaitu memperoleh model reduksi THI perkotaan dan arahan optimalisasi pengembangan lahan vegetasi berdasarkan THI. Data diperoleh dengan pendekatan penginderaan jauh berbasis citra Landsat multitemporal tahun 2009 dan 2019. Tahap ekstraksi data Landsat meliputi pengolahan NDVI, pengolahan suhu permukaan, pengolahan THI, klasifikasi terbimbing. Analisis regresi linier berganda digunakan untuk memperoleh model reduksi THI, kemudian dilanjutkan analisis develompement vegetasi dan analisis ketersediaan lahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alih fungsi lahan terutama badan air dan vegetasi menjadi lahan terbangun menyebabkan peningkatan THI tidak nyaman. Model reduksi THI perkotaan yang diperoleh yaitu Y = 27,810 - 9,341X1 - 7,920X2 - 1,079X3 dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 64,7%. Dimana Y (THI rata-rata), X1 (badan air), X2 (vegetasi rapat), dan X3 (vegetasi jarang). Secara keseluruhan, Kota Makassar memiliki ketersediaan lahan sebesar 46,33% (8084,77 Ha) yang cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan lahan vegetasinya yaitu 11,06% (1.930,95 Ha), dalam mewujudkan THI perkotaan yang nyaman.

English Abstract

The determination of Makassar City as the core of the Mamminasata National Strategic Area (Presidential Decree No. 55 of 2011), encourages an increase in land needs for development which has implications for the conversion of land use for vegetation. The availability of vegetation is one factor that affects the value of the Temperature Humidity Index (THI). THI is an index to measure the level of thermal comfort of the human population, with a comfort limit interval of 21-26 oC (Emmanuel, 2005). The lower the vegetation density, the higher the THI value (Suharyadi, 2019). This study discusses the comparison of the distribution of THI in Makassar City in 2009 and 2019 and its relationship with changes in land cover during that time. In addition, the goal to be achieved is to obtain a model for reducing urban THI and directions for optimizing vegetation development based on THI. The data were obtained using a remote sensing approach based on multitemporal Landsat imagery in 2009 and 2019. The Landsat data extraction stage includes NDVI processing, surface temperature processing, THI processing, supervised classification. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to obtain the THI reduction model, then followed by vegetation develompement analysis and also analysis of land availability. The results showed that the conversion of land functions, especially water bodies and vegetation into built-up land, caused an uncomfortable increase in THI. The urban THI reduction model obtained is Y = 27,810 - 9,341X1 - 7,920X2 - 1,079X3 with a determination coefficient is 64.7%. Where Y (average THI), X1 (water bodies), X2 (dense vegetation), and X3 (sparse vegetation). Overall, Makassar city has land availability of 46.33% (8084.77 Ha) which is enough to meet the needs of vegetation land which is 11.06% (1,930.95 Ha), in realizing a comfortable urban THI.
