Abstract
Museum merupakan sebuah ruang publik yang memuat aktifitas visual yakni pengamatan. Museum Mpu Tantular memiliki potensi yang besar untuk menjadi destinasi wisata dan daya tarik bagi masyarakat untuk belajar mengenai sejarah dan kebudayaan. Untuk dapat meningkatkan daya tarik masyarakat museum harus memenuhi standar dan kriteria penyajian tata pamer yang baik dan sesuai standar. Hal tersebut meliputi tata cahaya, tata ruang, dan nuansa interior. Ketiga hal tersebut merupakan faktor yang berperan penting dalam keberhasilan sebuah pameran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi desain tata ruang dan pencahayaan buatan ruang pamer yang dapat meningkatkan performa visual dan sesuai dengan karakteristik ruang dan bangunan Gedung Pameran Tetap Museum Mpu Tantular. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis visual untuk menganalisis kondisi eksisting, pengukuran lapangan untuk mengukur besar intensitas pencahayaan dan eksperimental menggunakan software DIALux evo untuk memperoleh rekomendasi desain pencahayaan ruang pamer Museum Mpu Tantular. Hasil pengukuran lapangan untuk pencahayaan alami eksisting ruang pamer memiliki rata-rata df sebesar 0.02-0.04 Lux. Sedangkan untuk hasil simulasi pengukuran intensitas pencahayaan buatan eksisting ruang pamer memiliki rata-rata 155-174 Lux. Rekomendasi desain Light shelf dapat menurunkan intensitas pencahayaan alami berlebih sebesar 66% sedangkan rekomendasi pencahayaan buatan dapat meningkatkan intensitas cahaya sebesar 63%
English Abstract
The museum is a public space that covers a wide range of activities including culture, conservation, education, and recreation. In its development, museums often become monotonous structures that coincide with the central time of history. Museum Mpu Tantular one of the history museums run by East Java provincial government located in Sidoarjo district. Museums Mpu Tantular has great potential to be a tourist destination and an attraction for communities to learn about history and culture. To improve the attraction of museum people must meet good standards and presentation criteria. It includes lighting and interior nuances. These factors play a significant role in the success of an exhibit. In designing lighting and space layout, it must take note of the characteristics of showy objects, as each exhibiting item has different materials, colors, sizes, dimensions, and degrees of light sensitivity. The study aims to find out a spatial design strategy and an interior gallries that match space and building remains of the Mpu Tantular museum. In addition, the study is also aimed at discovering artificial design strategies to enhance visual performance on the galleries of the Mpu Tantular museum. According to a study of the galleries of the Mpu Tantular museum, it consists of four exhibition zones. The exhibited collections contained different types of materials - textiles, wood, rocks, metals, fossils, paper and skin. Based on library studies of uv radiation radiation can cause permanent damage to showy objects. So the layout of exhibitions for natural lighting openings layout has a strong effect on amer continuity. The installation of light helf could help reduce excess lighting and can flatten calhaya's extension by 0.3 at the museum galleries Mpu Tantular. For artificial lighting of 193 lux on the I floor and 163 lux on the second floor, the figure was not consistent with the 500 lux artificial lighting standard. To increase the intensity of the lighting, it is recommended using a larger type and strong current of light. Additionally, in a recommendation of artificial lighting design it needs to align the color of the lamp with the interior concept and the atmosphere of the galleries. In addition to designing artificial, it is necessary to take note of the characteristics of each ostentatious object so that it is well observed by observers.
