Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh ransum pakan, interval waktu IB, tampilan reproduksi, menganalisis hubungan BCS terhadap S/C dan CR pada sapi induk Brahman Cross, mengetahui kondisi fisiologi ovarium dengan melihat pertumbuhan folikel dan CL (korpus luteum) serta organ reproduksi pada saat tidak bunting, mengetahui hubungan konsentrasi hormon Estradiol 17β terhadap hasil pemeriksaan menggunakan ultrasonografi pada sapi induk Brahman Cross. Metode penelitian terdiri dari dua tahapan penelitian yaitu penelitian utama tahap I : Evaluasi pengaruh ransum pakan dan interval waktu IB terhadap keberhasilan kebuntingan dan penelitian utama tahap II : Pengamatan status fisiologi anatomi ovarium, anatomi organ reproduksi, dan analisis konsentrasi hormon (Estradiol 17β). Materi penelitian ini menggunakan 80 ekor sapi induk Brahman Cross dengan bobot badan berkisar 300-500 kg. Analisis data utama tahap I dan II di lapangan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dicatat kemudian ditabulasi dengan menggunakan program Excel dan selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif analitik. Data untuk melihat hubungan antara variabel BCS, S/C dan CR yang diperoleh di analisis menggunakan korelasi dan regresi sederhana dengan bantuan program Sofware SPSS 20 selanjutnya di analisis secara deskriptif analitik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan nutrisi berupa BK dan PK yang terkandung dalam pakan yang diberikan dilokasi penelitian belum tercukupi, sehingga berdampak pada kondisi fisiologi reproduksi terutama pada keberhasilan kebuntingan sapi induk Brahman Cross. Hasil IB setelah pemberian ransum pakan Breeding dan Feedlot dilokasi penelitian memperlihatkan persentase kebuntingan masih sangat rendah dengan angka konsepsi interval waktu IB 0-2 jam yakni sebesar 35%, disusul interval waktu IB 0-2 jam sebesar 30%, interval waktu IB 8-10 jam sebesar 30% dan terendah yakni interval waktu IB 8-10 jam sebesar 25% pada sapi induk Brahman Cross. BCS memberikan kontribusi positif sedang terhadap angka keberhasilan kebuntingan baik S/C dan CR sapi induk Brahman Cross. Kegagalan reproduksi karena kelainan anatomi organ reproduksi dan juga gangguan pada ovarium didapatkan servik abnormal, kornua uteri keras atau tidak beraturan sebanyak 4 ekor (5%), hipofungsi ovary 1 ekor (1,25%), korpus luteum persistent 2 ekor (2,25%), dan terdapat folikel sistik sebanyak 6 ekor (7%). Hubungan Konsentrasi hormon estradiol 17β terhadap hasil pemeriksaan menggunakan USG pada sapi induk Brahman Cross dengan konsentrasi tertinggi 5,765 ng/mL dan konsentrasi hormon terendah 0,41 ng/mL.

English Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of feed rations, AI time intervals, reproductive display, analyze the relationship of BCS to S/C and CR in Brahman Cross mother cows, determine the condition of ovarian physiology by looking at the growth of follicles and CL (corpus luteum) and reproductive organs at the time not pregnant, knowing the relationship of the concentration of the hormone Estradiol 17β to the results of the examination using ultrasonography in Brahman Cross mother cows.The research method consisted of two stages of research, namely the main research phase I: Evaluation of the influence of feed rations and AI time intervals on pregnancy success and the main research phase II: Observation of the physiological status of ovarian anatomy, anatomy of the reproductive organs, and analysis of hormone concentrations (Estradiol 17β).This research material uses 80 Brahman Cross mother cows with body weights ranging from 300-500 kg. The main data analysis phase I and II in the field used in this study were recorded then tabulated using the Excel program and then analyzed descriptively analytically. Date to see the relationship between the variables BCS, S/C and CR obtained in the analysis using correlation and simple regression with the help of the SPSS 20 Sofware program, then analyzed descriptively analytically.The results showed that the nutritional needs in the form of BK and PK contained in the feed provided at the research location were not fulfilled, so that it had an impact on the condition of reproductive physiology, especially on the successful pregnancy of the Brahman Cross mother cow. AI results after giving Breeding and Feedlot feed rations in the study location showed the percentage of pregnancy was still very low with the conception of AI 0-2 hour time intervals of 35%, followed by AI 0-2 hour time intervals of 30%, AI 8-10 time intervals hour by 30% and the lowest is the AI time interval of 8-10 hours by 25% in the parent Brahman Cross. BCS made a moderate positive contribution to the pregnancy success rate of both the S/C and CR of the Brahman Cross mother cow. Reproductive failure due to anatomical abnormalities of the reproductive organs and disorders of the ovaries were found to be abnormal cervix, 4 corns of hard or irregular uterine 4 (5%), 1 ovary hypofunction (1.25%), 2 persistent corpus luteum (2.25) %), and there are 6 cystic follicles (7%). Relationship Concentration of the hormone estradiol 17β to the results of examination using USG in the parent Brahman Cross with the highest concentration of 5.765 ng / mL and the lowest hormone concentration of 0.41 ng / mL.
