Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan menerapkan analisis jalur data berskala kategorik, menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja. Data penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data primer dengan cara memberikan kuesioner kepada karyawan tetap Bank Negara Indonesia Cabang Jember dengan metode saturation sampling, yaitu sebanyak 67 karyawan. Data yang digunakan diukur dengan skala Likert selanjutnya data berupa skor diubah menjadi data kategorik dengan metode Rescoring, lalu dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur kategorik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan variabel stres kerja memberikan pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan secara langsung dan tidak langsung dan variabel kepuasan kerja memberikan pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan secara langsung. Koefisien determinasi total yang dapat dijelaskan oleh model sebesar 89,23% sedangkan sisanya 11,77% dijelaskan oleh variabel di luar model.

English Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of applying path analysis to categorical scale data, testing and analyzing the effect of work stress on employee performance through job satisfaction. The research data used in this study are primary data by giving questionnaires to permanent employees of Bank Negara Indonesia Jember Branch with a saturation sampling method, as many as 67 employees. The data used are measured with a Likert scale, then the data in the form of scores are converted into categorical data with the Rescoring method, then analyzed using a categorical path analysis. The results of this study indicate that work stress variables have a significant positive effect on employee performance directly and indirectly, and job satisfaction variables provide a significant positive effect on employee performance variables directly. The coefficient of total determination that can be explained by the model is 89.23% while the remaining 11.77% is explained by variables outside the model.
