Abstract
PT. Arwana Citramulia Plant III merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang industri keramik. Proses produksi pada perusahaan ini memiliki enam tahap permesinan yaitu mesin ballmill, mesin spry dryer, mesin press, mesin HD, glazing line, dan mesin kiln. Dalam proses produksi yang melibatkan beberapa mesin tersebut sering kali mengalami gangguan kerusakan pada mesin produksi. Gangguan kerusakan mesin mengakibatkan waktu henti atau downtime pada mesin, sehingga proses produksi mengalami hambatan. Agar proses produksi tidak mengalami banyak hambatan terlebih karena downtime mesin, maka perlu perencanaan dan strategi perawatan yang baik dan benar untuk memperbaiki efektivitas mesin. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi nilai efektivitas mesin dalam menganalisa strategi dan kebijakan perawatan pada perusahaan adalah menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dilanjutkan dengan identifikasi six big losses. Kemudian dilakukan analisis cara kerja dari mesin Press Line 2 dengan menggunakan Functional Block Diagram. Terakhir dilakukan analis untuk mengidentifikasi setiap kegagalan peralatan pada mesin Press Line 2 menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Penentuan strategi dan kebijakan perawatan dengan mempertimbangkan konsep pilar Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai OEE dari mesin Press Line 2 yang sebesar 59,15% masih dibawah standar Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) sebesar 80%. Losses yang memiliki pengaruh pada mesin Press Line 2 adalah Breakdown Losses sebesar 2,96%, Speed Losses sebesar 36,61%, dan Quality Defect sebesar 1,29%. Cara kerja mesin Press Line 2 yang ditunjukkan menggunakan FBD menghasilkan enam blok yang terdapat pada mesin Press Line 2. Analisis metode FMEA menghasilkan terdapat lima komponen yang memiliki pengaruh pada mesin Press Line 2, yaitu Panel Press, Floating Grid, Seal Gasket, Mouldset, dan Upper. Rekomendasi perbaikan menggunakan enam pilar TPM yaitu 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Quality Maintenance, Training, dan Kaizen.
English Abstract
PT. Arwana Citramulia Plant III is a company engaged in the ceramics industry. The production process at this company has six stages of machining namely ball mill machine, spry dryer mchine, press machine, HD machine, glazing line, and kiln machine. In the production process that involves several machines often experience damage to the production machine. Disturbances in engine damage result in downtime on the machine, so the production process is an experiencing obstacle. So that production process does not experience many obstacles especially due to machine downtime, it is necessary to plan and maintain a good strategy and correct to improve the effectiveness of the machine. The method used to evaluate the value of engine effectiveness in analyzing maintenance strategies and policies in companies is to use the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method and then do identification of six big losses. Then do an analysis of the workings of the Press Line 2 machine using Functional Block Diagram. Finally, do analysis to identify any equipment failures on the Press Line 2 machine using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. Determination of treatment strategies and policies are by considering the concept of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pilar. The results of the research showed that the average OEE value of the Press Line 2 machine which is 59,15% and it still below the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) standard of 80%. Losses that have an influence on Press Line 2 machines are Breakdown Losses of 2,96%, Speed Losses of 36,61%, and Quality Defect of 1,29%. The workings of the Press Line 2 machine shown using FBD produced six blocks contained in the Press Line 2 machine. Analysis of the FMEA shows that there are five components that gave impact to the processes namely Panel Press, Floating Grid, Seal Gasket, Mouldset, and Upper. Recommendations for improvement are using the six pillars of TPM namely 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Quality Maintenance, Training, and Kaizen.
