English Abstract
The object of this research was to find the productivity of Saanen goat doe in BBPTU HPT Baturraden Purwokerto. The materials used for this research were 43 Saanen goat does and 58 lambs. The method used in this research was case study. The technic of data collection was purposive sampling, using 2019 recording data. Purposive sampling was used because not all of the datas (litter size, weaning weight, kidding interval, and mortality) were available, so only the complete data used in this research. The data used was secondary data collected from recording in BBPTU HPT Baturraden. The data obtained then tabulated, analyzed descriptively, the average and standard deviation were calculated and the doe productivity was calculated using the formula. Then, the doe productivity based on does age was analyzed by t-test and the doe productivity based on kind of birth was analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA). The research showed that litter size of Saanen goat doe in BBPTU HPT Baturraden was 1,49+0,63, the standardized weaning weight of lamb was 18,71+1,53 kg, the kidding interval was 246,63+18,43 days, the mortality of lamb was 9,38%, the doe productivity was 35,42+12,28 kg/doe/year and the doe reproductive index was 1,98+0,68 lamb/doe/year. The conclusion of this research showed that doe age and type of birth were highly influenced (P<0,01) toward doe productivity of Saanen goat in BBPTU HPT Baturraden.
