Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas peran istri kepala desa dalam mendorong keberhasilan praktik kewirausahaan politik Kepala Desa di Desa Nglawak, Kec. Kertosono, Kab. Nganjuk. Mc Caffrey dan Salerno (2011) menjelaskan bahwa kewirausahaan politik merupakan upaya individual wirausahawan politik yang didorong oleh tiga pendekatan yaitu public chioce, entrepreneurship yang dikembangkan dari teori kewirausahaan Israel Kizner yaitu alertness and discovery, dan new institusionalism. Berbeda dengan tersebut, penelitian ini menemukan peran istri kepala desa dalam mendorong praktik kewirausahaan politik kepala desa. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa kewirausahaan politik tidak hanya bisa bergerak sendiri tetapi bisa dengan dukungan dari orang lain. Dengan adanya peran istri kepala desa dalam praktik kewirausahaan politik kepala desa ternyata sangat menunjang kesuksesan kepemimpinan kepala desa. Dalam hal ini, istri kepala desa tidak hanya berperan sebagai figur seorang ibu rumah tangga, melainkan juga ikut andil turun tangan kedalam ranah publik utamanya kedalam masyarakat desa. Peran istri kepala desa yaitu membantu mengembangkan program dan banyak menyumbangkan ide kreatif. Melalui ini kepala desa dan istrinya dapat dengan mudah dekat dengan masyarakatnya sehingga mendapatkan rasa kepercayaan yang tinggi dari warganya. Faktor tersebut yang menjadikan popularitas kepala desa menjadi tinggi sehingga dapat terpilih kembali selama dua periode dengan latar belakang agama non muslim didesa yang mayoritas masyarakatnya beragama muslim melalui pengembangan program-program yang cukup signifikan. Terakhir, penelitian ini memperluas teori kewirausahaan politik, bahwa wirausahawan politik bisa bekerja sama dengan pihak lain.
English Abstract
This study discusses the role of the village head’s wife in driving success of the political entrepreneurship village head in Nglawak village, Kertosono District, Nganjuk Regency. Mc Caffrey and Salerno (2011) explained that political entrepreneurship is an individual driven effort of political entrepreneurs by three approaches to the public chioce, entrepreneurship developed from the entrepreneurial theory of Israel Kizner namely Alertness and discovery, and new institusionalism. Unlike this, the study found the role of village head wife in encouraging the political intrepreneurship practices of village heads. The study reveals that political entrepreneurship can not only move itself but could with the support of others. With the role of the village head’s wife in political entrepreneurship practice, village head turned out to support the success of village head leadership. In this case, the head of the village is not only the role of a housewife, but also to intervene into the public domain primarily into the community of the village. The role of village head wife is to help develop the program and contribute many creative ideas. Through this village head and his wife can be easily close to the community so as to gain a high sense of confidence from its citizens. The factors that make the popularity of the village head become high so that it can be re-elected over two periods against the background of non Muslim religion in the village that the majority of the community is Muslims through the development of programs that Quite significant. Lastly, this study expanded the theory of political entrepreneurship, that political entrepreneurs can work with other parties.
