Abstract
Penyelenggaraan Kegiatan World Outgames yang telah berlangsung selama tiga kali yaitu tahun 2006 di Montreal, tahun 2009 di Copenhagen dan tahun 2013 di Antwerp, pada praktiknya memiliki pesan diplomatik yang ingin disampaikan kepada pihak-pihak tertentu dan juga publik. Penyampaian pesan diplomatik dalam suatu kegiatan yang massive dan terorganisir ini, menjadi salah satu indikasi bahwasanya terdapat sebuah gerakan sosial yang terjadi di dalam World Outgames. Hal tersebut diperkuat dengan aktor yang menjadi pihak penyelenggara dan tema yang diangkat dalam Kegiatan World Outgames, saling menaruh perhatian pada isu yang sama, yaitu Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual dan Transgender (LGBT). Dalam upaya menyampaikan pesan diplomatik terkait, terdapat strategi-strategi tertentu yang dilakukan melalui Kegiatan World Outgames itu sendiri. Adapun strategi-strategi tersebut merupakan strategi yang terdapat di dalam Konsep Gerakan Sosial.
English Abstract
The Execution of World Outgames Activity which has lasted for three times in 2006 at Montreal, in 2009 at Copenhagen and in 2013 at Antwerp, in point of fact have a diploamatic message that want to be delivered to the certain side and also public. The delivery of a diplomatic message on this massive and organized activity, become an indication that there’s a social movement occur in the World Outgames. This things marked by the actor and the theme of World Outgames Activity that concerned on the same issue, which is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT). In the effort to deliver that related diplomatic message, there’s certain strategies which is conducted through World Outgames Activity itself. As for those strategies were a strategy that contained in Social Movement Concept
