Abstract

Pengontrolan suhu dan kelembaban dapat dilakukan pada sistem pertanian yang menggunakan ruang tanaman.Karena iklim di Indonesia saat ini sedang tidak stabil sehingga berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman.Kelembaban udara atau RH yang baik untuk tanaman baby kailan adalah 80% – 90% dan suhu rata – rata harian yang dikehendaki 23°C – 35ºC. Peneliti mengukur tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, lebar daun, diameter batang, serta berat basah tanaman untuk melihat hasil dari pengontrolan suhu dan kelembaban pada tanaman baby kailan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, suhu dan kelembaban apabila dikontrol mempengaruhi pertumbuhan tanaman baby kailan.Dimana tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, lebar daun serta diameter batang pada tanaman plant factory hasilnya lebih baik apabila dibandingkan dengan tanaman kontrol. Rata – rata yang dihasilkan pada tanaman plant factory dengan tanaman kontrol yaitu pada tinggi tanaman sebesar 14,038 cm dengan 11,133 cm, jumlah daun sebanyak 7 helai daun dengan 6 helai daun, lebar daun sebesar 6,63 cm dengan 6,23 cm, diameter batang sebesar 1,507 cm dengan 1,377 cm, serta berat basah 14,272 gr dengan 13,291 gr.

English Abstract

Control of temperature and humidity can be done on agricultural systems that use plant space. Because the climate in Indonesia is currently unstable, which affects plant growth. Good air humidity or RH for baby kailan plants is 80% - 90% and average daily temperature desired is 23°C - 35°C. Researchers measured plant height, lead number, leaf width, stem diameter, and plant wet weight to see the results of controlling temperature and humidity in baby kailan plants. Base on the results of the study, temperature and humidity when controlled affect the growth of baby kailan plants. Where plant height, number of leaves, leaf width and stem diameter in plat plant yields are better when compared to control plants. The average yield on factory plant plants with control plants is at plant height of 14,038 cm with 11,133 cm, cumber of leaves as much as 7 leaves with 6 leaves, leaf width of 6,63 cm with 6,23 cm, stem diameter of 1,507 cm with 1,377 cm, and wet weight 14, 272 gr with 13,291 gr.
