Abstract

Dekomposisi dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas tanah. Terdapat banyak variasi bahan pendukung proses dekomposisi. Kombinasi abu pembakaran batubara (coal fly ash) dan sludge black water dapat menjadi inovasi bahan pendukung dekomposisi. Di Indonesia, secara masif abu pembakaran batubara diperoleh dari proses konversi listrik di PLTU yang berbahan bakar batubara yang menyebabkan permasalahan lingkungan dan membutuhkan inovasi dalam pemanfaatannya. Selain itu, sludge black water juga berpotensi tinggi untuk menjadi salah satu bahan pendukung dekomposisi dan berperan sebagai agen biologis untuk membantu proses degradasi dan menyediakan kebutuhan Nitrogen tanah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk dapat mengetahui pengaruh dari penambahan sludge black water dan fly ash , komposisi terbaiknya, dan pengaruh waktu dalam proses dekomposisi berdasarkan karakteristik kimiawinya. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan empat variasi dalam persentase pemberian sludge black water yaitu sebesar 0% ; 25% ; 50% ; dan 75% yang masing-masing diberi larutan EM4 0,7%. Variasi ini juga disertai dengan variasi bahanbahan penyusun kompos lainnya seperti coal fly ash (FA) dan sekam padi (SP). Dekomposisi dilakukan secara anaerob dengan durasi waktu 14 hari dan 21 hari. Kemudian, produk dekomposisi tersebut akan dianalisa kualitasnya berdasarkan SNI 19-7030-2004 dan SNI 7763:2018 berdasarkan parameter kadar air, pH, rasio C/N, kandungan C-Organik Total, N-Total, PTotal, dan K-Total. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan percobaan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) untuk dapat menentukan signifikan atau tidaknya setiap perlakuan dan dilakukan uji lanjutan Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) dan Duncan untuk mengetahui nilai signifikansi dari tiap perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat perlakuan terbaik adalah P4 dengan 21 hari dekomposisi; P3 dengan 14 hari dekomposisi; P2 dengan 21 hari dekomposisi; dan P4 dengan 14 hari dekomposisi.

English Abstract

Decomposition are done in purpose to improve the quality of soil. There are varieties of materials which can be used to support the process of decomposition. The combination of coal fly ash and sludge black water are potentially to be the inovative materials to do the decomposition. In Indonesia, coal fly ash are massively produced by electric steam power plant. For it’s quantity, the presence of coal fly ash leads to environmental problem which needs inovative ways in order to utilize the excessive quantity of it. Besides,sludge black water is highly potential to be the other subtances to support decomposition in nourishing the soil. In this research, there were four variants of sludge black water percentage which are 0% ; 25% ; 50% ; 75%. The variance of sludge black water was also accompanied by the varied other substances such as coal fly ash (FA) and rice husks (SP). Furthermore, there was 0,7% addition of EM4 in every combination of substances. The anaerobic decomposition was done in 14 days and 21 days. Thus, the results of this experiment were tested on parameters such as C/N rate, water content, pH, C-organic content, total content of N, total content of P, total content of K and analyzed with SNI 19-7030-2004 and SNI 7763:2018. This research was done through Completely Randomized Design to find the significance between the variety of substances’ combination and also the post hoc test such as Least Significance Different and Duncan. Thus, the experiments concluded that the four best combinations were P4 which was made by 14 days of decomposition, P3 which was made by 14 days of decomposition, and P2 which was made by 21 days of decomposition, and P4 which was made by 21 days of decomposition.
