Abstract

Pengontrolan sistem irigasi tetes otomatis dirancang menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino Mega 2560 dan komponen pendukung elektronika lainnya seperti sensor YL-69 sebagai input nilai kelembaban tanah, relay dan pompa irigasi sebagai eksekutor terhadap output (keluaran) berupa pemberian air pada tanaman. Perancangan irigasi tetes otomatis berdasarkan nilai kadar lengas tanah diterapkan pada budidaya tanaman Baby Kailan (Brassica Oleracea var achepala). Untuk mengetahui kinerja sistem yang telah dirancang dilakukan pengujian terhadap sistem irigasi otomatis yaitu keseragaman irigasi, debit air, penggunaan air irigasi dan pengamatan kadar lengas tanah selama proses pertumbuhan. Untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman baby kailan dilakukan pengamatan terhadap produktivitas tanaman baby kailan yang berupa tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, lebar daun, ivdiameter batang dan berat tanaman serta dibandingkan dengan tanaman kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diterapkan nilai setting point untuk kadar lengas yaitu batas bawah 19% dan batas atas 28%. Selama pengujian pompa irigasi menyala dan terjadi pemberian air sebanyak dua kali yaitu pada 11 dan 21 hari setelah tanam dengan jumlah pemberian air 6229 ml. Rata – rata tinggi tanaman baby kailan dengan irigasi tetes otomatis yaitu 14,04 cm dan tanaman kontrol yaitu 11,13 cm; jumlah daun dengan irigasi tetes otomatis 7 helai dan tanaman kontrol 6 helai; lebar daun dengan irigasi otomatis yaitu 6,63 cm dan tanaman kontrol yaitu 6,23 cm; diameter batang dengan irigasi otomatis yaitu 1,507 cm dan tanaman kontrol yaitu 1,377 cm; berat basah tanaman dengan irigasi otomatis 14,2718 gram dan tanaman kontrol yaitu 13,2916 gram.

English Abstract

The automatic drip irrigation system is designed using the Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller and other electronic supporting components such as the YL-69 sensor as of soil moisture value, relay and irrigation pump as the executor of the output in the form of giving water to plants. The design of automatic drip irrigation based on soil moisture content was applied to the cultivation of Baby Kailan (Brassica Oleracea var achepala). To find out the system performance that has been designed, testing is carried out on automatic irrigation systems, that is irrigation uniformity, water discharge, irrigation water use and observation of soil moisture content during the growth process. To determine the effect on the growth of baby kailan, observations were made on the productivity of kailan that is plant height, number of leaves, leaf width, stem diameter and plant weight and compared with control plants. Based on the results of the study, the value of setting points for moisture content was applied for lower limit of 19% and the upper limit of 28%. During the testing the irrigation pump was lit up and water was given twice on 11 and 21 days after planting with the amount of water given 6229 ml. The average viheight of baby kailan plants with automatic drip irrigation is 14,04 cm and control plants are 11,13 cm; the number of leaves with automatic drip irrigation is 7 strands and control plants are 6 strands; the width of the leaves with automatic irrigation is 6,63 cm and the control plants are 6,23 cm; stem diameter with automatic irrigation is 1.507 cm and control plants are 1.377 cm; wet weight of plants with automatic irrigation 14.2718 grams and control plants are 13.2916 grams
