Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran acceptance of dating violence pada korban kekerasan dalam pacaran. Gambaran yang dijabarkan menyangkut bagaimana sikap dan perilaku nyata korban dalam acceptance of dating violence. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pemilihan partisipan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini rentang usia 20-25 tahun dan tengah mengalami kekerasan dalam pacaran. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik wawancara., sedangkan untuk teknik analisa yang digunakan untuk mengolah data merupakan teknik analisa Miles and Huberman. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa sikap Acceptance of dating violence terjadi melalui 2 proses berbeda. Proses pertama dengan melakukan perlawanan sebelum memunculkan sikap acceptance of dating violence. Proses yang kedua adalah dengan tidak melakukan apa-apa atau pasrah dan langsung memunculkan sikap acceptance of dating violence. perbedaan proses ini tidak didasari oleh perbedaan gender, namun lebih mendasar pada faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan sikap acceptance of dating violence. faktornya antara lain afeksi yang membelenggu, rasa ketidakberdayaan, keterbatasan memahami masalah, harapan pada figur pelindung, komitmen, pandangan keluarga dan orang lain, durasi lamanya hubungan, serta rasa tanggung jawab karena sudah melakukan seks dan kegiatan lain yang diluar batas berpacaran

English Abstract

This study aims to determine how the picture of acceptance of dating violence in victims of violence in courtship. The description described concerns the attitudes and real behavior of victims in the acceptance of dating violence. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The technique of selecting participants used a purposive sampling technique. Participants in this study range in age from 20-25 years and are experiencing violence in courtship. The data collection technique used is the interview technique. Whereas the analysis technique used to process the data is the Miles and Huberman analysis technique. The results revealed that the attitude of Acceptance of dating violence occurs through 2 different processes. The first process is by putting up a fight before giving rise to an attitude of acceptance of dating violence. The second process is to do nothing or surrender and immediately bring an attitude of acceptance of dating violence. the difference in this process is not based on gender differences, but is more fundamental to the factors that cause acceptance of dating violence. factors include restrained affection, a sense of helplessness, limited understanding of the problem, expectations of protective figures, commitment, family and other people's views, duration of the relationship, and a sense of responsibility for having sex and other activities that are beyond the limits of dating
