Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peran Self Directed Learning Readiness (Kesiapan belajar mandiri) terhadap Academic Success (Kesuksesan secara akademik) di Perguruan Tinggi pada mahasiswa baru Universitas Brawijaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Alat ukur untuk menguji kesuksesan di perguruan tinggi menggunakan ASICS (Academic Success Inventory for College Students) dan kesiapan belajar mandiri menggunakan skala SDLR (Self Directed Learning Readiness). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat peran self directed learning readiness dengan academic success pada mahasiswa baru Universitas Brawijaya (sig. 0,000 < 0,05 dan memiliki nilai R squared 0,426).
English Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know The Effect of Self Directed Learning Readiness on Academic Success in New Students of brawijaya University. This research was use correlational quantitative. Measuring instrument that use for predict the success in University were ASICS (Academic Success Inventory for College Students) that has been tested, and SDLR (Self Directed Learning Readiness) that has been also tested. The results of this research shows that Self Directed Learning Readiness have the role with the academic success of new students in Brawijaya University (sig. 0,000 < 0,05 and has a R squared 0,426).
